Aftercare was one of Kate's favourite things to do with you
She always loved being there for you, but aftercare was special
She loved that no one else could know what it was like to comfort you in this way
After casual sex, she would get you both a glass of water and a little snack
Then you'd pull her back down into the bed and cling to her
Your head would be tucked into her neck as you thanked her and calmed down
You both had the same love language which was physical touch, so cuddling meant a lot
When it was night, you both would talk about your day
Eventually you would fall asleep to her voice as her arms held you protectively
If you guys had rougher sex, Kate would be slightly worried she went too far
It would be obvious since she rushed all her words out
"Are you okay? Does anything hurt? I'll get you another glass of water. Do you want me to hold you? Oh, or you can have your space. Anything you need and I'm here. Or not here. I can give you space to breathe. I love you"
She'd clean your body with a warm wet cloth and apologise when you winced
She would also massage achy parts of your body if you asked for it
But aftercare wasn't just for you
With Kate's risky job, she always worried about you
So holding you in her arms made her feel better
A lot of the time, she'd tighten her hold and tell you how much you mean to her
