acceptedmyself:
He didn’t voice any reaction to his Master’s musings right away, guessing he wasn’t expecting any, unless he intended to amuse himself of making him point out the blood he was speaking of could only be metaphorical.
The only reaction he deemed appropriate was taking ahold of Zenyatta’s hand and bow his head down.
“The feeling is mutual.“ A dash of honestly the demon would only save for that one person. The Omnic seemed about the only person for whom he could feel more than anger and melancholy.
The mask’s face turned up into a smile once more as his hand was taken -- it was a gentle action, the touch baring little to no strength as the Oni -- his Genji -- bowed his head. Perhaps he’d even slowly remove his mask with his free hand, letting the kitsune’s visage clatter to the ground before he brought his hand to Genji’s, squeezing it delicately.
Only with Genji would he ever think to show this side of himself.
“There is no need for this, my student. Look me in the eyes when you address me.” With his own words came one hand moving to the Oni’s chin to lift his face, two slanted eyes meeting the mask’s eye sockets in a moment of silence.
