it's crazy how in 2014 i was listening to 1989 on repeat for months on end and now that the taylor's version of 1989 is out, i will be doing the same thing as well

also the fact that taylor was 25 when the first 1989 came out and now i'm the same age for the taylor's version is insane. thank you for being a part of my life, taylor swift!!!

also, i saw the hunger games in theaters on wednesday and i cried so much?? one of my fave films and books for sure.

i swear i've cried every time i the ballad of songbirds and snakes pops up on screen for me. all the feels are insane

i haven't read a book in seven years

which is crazy given that my old url was avidbookworm haha. my 12 year old self would be mad at me right now.

however, after a very long hiatus, i read shadow and bone a few days ago and i absolutely loved it. i did watch the show first, which sparked my interest in the books and i wanted answers asap after watching the first season, so i decided to grab the book and no regrets!! thank you to the cast for a superb job and for inspiring me to pick up a book again. as cheesy as it may sound, it made me believe in magic/fantasy again haha.

i'll update you all on my feelings on the rest of the books. i'll read them in the next couple of days

hello world, i am back from the pits of tumblr

a little update:

1 - I graduated from college. 2 - I got married. 3 - I have left Hawaii and am now in Colorado.

those are pretty much the big things. i still listen to bands. i occassionally cry over the hunger games and every movie/book i’ve obssessed over when i was active here. my love for kpop and kdramas has grown immensely so i will post more about those here since i don’t really have time to read books anymore (i’m still open to recommendations tho!) 

also, yes, i know about the percy jackson tv show. i’m still crying over it bc finally?? we’ll get the content we deserve. 

anyways, i just wanted to say a huge HEYYYY to you all? i don’t know who’s left on this account, and i didn’t really want to make a new one for my kdrama/kpop fangirling so, i guess that’s pretty much it??

please don’t hesitate to message me if you wanna talk too! although my job keeps me busy, i really do miss this place and would like to reconnect with all of you.
