Do Better, Bucky...

All right, I'm gonna go on a little rant because SOME fans of the Bucky Protection Squad can't seem to empathize or understand beyond what Bucky has gone through.

He broke Zemo out of prison who was put there for killing Wakanda's king and blowing up the U.N. Of course Wakanda is going to be upset and feel some type of way towards Bucky. After rehabilitating him, undoing all the brainwashing, and building him a new vibranium arm, that's how he repays their kindness???

And Ayo disarming Bucky for a few seconds DURING A FIGHT is considered cruel? He's lucky that's all Ayo did to him. If she wanted to be cruel, she could've taken that arm away for good as retribution for freeing Zemo.

Bucky may be free from the brainwashing, but he's not free from the consequences of his actions as a grown-ass man. Bucky needs to be held accountable and do better. Period.

Ayo disengaging Bucky by removing his arm signifies so much. It’s her way of showing that he’s lost the support of Wakanda. His reaction to her calling him James instead of Bucky or White Wolf is so understated, yet shows his heartbreak so well. They did so much for him, they freed him. Now they see him as a traitor and someone who has gone against them. That’s going to hit him hard.

Like, I’ll always love the show we should have had: the one starring Nicole Beharie as Abbie Mills, with her sidekick Ichabod Crane and featuring Orlando Jones, Amandla Stenberg, John Cho and Lyndie Greenwood - the one that was the X-Files for the new millennium and lived on for 10 seasons and 2 movies and lived up to every bit of it’s potential. But that show died a long time ago, probably long before Abbie Mills did, and now finally it can be buried. Along with my hopes and dreams and faith in TV writers not to be fucking assholes. RIP.
