   IN : “So, did you know either or both of the victims on a personal level? Please state the relationship you had with the sheriff and the mayor beyond their professional positions within the community,”

DL : " beyond their professional positions within the community ? .. hm .. well , the mayor and i knew each other . his daughter and i have been close friends for ages .. i’ve been to their house countless times during the years but that’s about it . as for the sheriff , other than his personal spite towards me , i have nothing else to comment on .. i always strived to keep things professional . “ 

   IN : “When was the last time you saw the deceased? Were they behaving suspicious in any way? Was something off with their behaviour?”

DL : “ last time i saw either of them was over a month ago , before i left for italy . i wouldn’t notice anything suspicious even if it were happening .. we weren’t that close . ” shrugs . 

   IN : “Where were you at the time of the murder? Who were you with? If I ask these people about you, will they be able to vouch for you? What were you doing?”

DL : “ i was at the party . you know where i was . i was having a good time and you can ask leonardo , olivia , elijah .. “ tries to remember everyone she spoke to that night , “ jake .. yeah , i think this is everyone i conversated with while sober enough to remember . you can ask all of them . “  

   IN : “Was there anyone you know acting off prior to the murder? Do you know anyone who might have a reason to have murdered the deceased?

DL : “ no. “ 

   IN : “Can you please elaborate further on who you believe committed the murder? And why?”

DL : “ this is getting ridiculous . none of us did it ! check your list .. no , please , look at the names that went before me and are expected after , ” points to the folder between them , “ you’re looking at the names of people that suffered too much or have too much to loose to act on a whim and kill a mayor that barely did his job and his side-kick sleeze sheriff . only person who’d have a motive to do it is the mayor’s weird assistant . she’d come into the town’s group chat and flirt with everyone , practically begging for attention , so i wouldn’t put it past her to actually kill someone for power . “
