Guys this place is hell. I’ve never hated a place more. You are watched. Constantly. Three meals and three snacks a day. Don’t finish? You have a “boost” supplement, basically a protein milkshake that is the most filling food I’ve ever had. It hurts your stomach for hours. Don’t finish the boost? You get a bag that will feed you through your nose and stomach, and if you’ve ever seen Thin to the Bone, then you know there is 1500 calories in each bag. They have me on 2000 cals a day and it’s the worst feeling. You are isolated from everything. There are few privileges that you can receive 5 minute seated showers, moving to a chair for meals and snacks, and short ten minute walks but other than that, it’s strictly bed rest. You have very little time for your self. After you finish any food you’ve been given, someone waits an additional 45 minutes to “observe” you. Once your observation is over, you will have anywhere from 15-30 minutes by yourself until a nurse comes in to check vitals and draw blood. After that a psychologist will come in and ask you questions that usually takes about 45 minutes. By then, chances are that you will have another snack or meal and the cycle continues with endless doctors and physicians constantly asking about your physical and mental health. You don’t want to be here. You have no choices, descions, or independence.
