Just 55 years ago. There are still people affected by this. Society is still affected.

Dear countries outside of the United States,

Please stop traveling here for fun+spending money in our country, for right now. Our president, literally, only understands monetary impact. He needs a time-out! Every step he takes is informed by the toxic system that is U.S. capitalism. Which was built on European exiles colonizing indigenous territories in what they THOUGHT was fucking India. Then those same mofos got on boats and stole/exploited Black bodies on the content of Africa, then brought them back to their, recently, colonized territories. The stolen Black bodies were forced to build the roads and lay the foundation for that 'Statue of Liberty' folks love taking pictures of. This country was built on hundreds of years of slave labor and our nation refuses to reconcile with it's sinister past. We have to be forced to deal with our shit, apparently, for shit to change. Just put us in a corner and give us a lil bit to work our shit out. Pls.
