"This World (Live)" - Selah Sue

Check out this crazy Belgian chick: Selah Sue. This song is my personal favorite, "This World (Live)". Check out the album version of "This World" as well it's incredible. Her debut album Selah Sue was released just last year and she is become a sensation pretty quickly. You'll see why. HOLY CHEESE & CRACKERS she is super talented. "YOUNGBLOOD" - 3OH!3

Remember these guys? Yeah, they still exist. Now they're back and more hipster than ever. "YOUNGBLOOD" is their most recent single off of their upcoming album Omens, set to release in 2013. I really love the electronic sound these guys have developed. They know how to have fun with their music but it seems that this song marks new territory for the duo as it sounds a lot more mature than their past albums. Listen and enjoy!

"Sir Isaac" - Billy Van

ATTENTION: Fellow IU grads and others as well (I guess). Meet the best producer to come out of the Bloomington scene in the past couple years. I'm hot and cold when it comes to dubstep and sometimes it can get to be a bit too overwhelming for me, but Billy Van makes it super enjoyable to listen to his tunes. Check out his new album "Retro Punch" and support this dude, as he is most likely going to blow up within a year. This guy is bursting with talent. Solid production and solid sound. Touche, Billy Van.

"I'm Not Talking" - A.C. Newman

I love this song. This is a recent solo album project entitled "Shut Down The Streets" from one of the lead singers of the band The New Pornographers, which I never really got too into. This is a great album as you'll hear. One my favorite new artists which I found through Spotify. Other good tracks include "There's Money In New Wave," "Strings," and "Wasted English." Really the whole album is excellent. Check it out when you've got some spare time. Groove on.

"Astro" - Panda

So I recently got FIFA 13 and have been playing it NONSTOP. This is by far my favorite song to come off the new soundtrack. If you're in a bad mood this will automatically cheer you up I guarantee it!

24K of Gold - Big Sean ft. J. Cole

If you haven't heard of Big Sean yet, you will soon. This is off his recently released mixtape "Detroit" which is sponsored by Kanye's crew from G.O.O.D. music. If you like hip-hop at all, then go download this mixtape as soon as possible, it's really impressive. The track mentioned here is just a well-produced track by producer keY Wane and is complemented by J. Cole on the feature. Nothing like a smooth beat and solid flow, mixed in with probably the best hook off the mixtape. Happy listening, friends.

Owl City - Shooting Star

Owl City is one of my favorite artists. He always a happy sound and somehow maintains optimism with all of his tunes. I might be a little behind on this album, but if you haven't heard it, I recommend it. This song is beat- and synth-driven and it just makes you feel good. Nothing like his music. Check out his new album "The Midsummer Station." Other honorable track mentions: Dreams and Disasters, Gold, Good Time ft. Carly Rae Jepsen (the "Call Me Maybe" legend) and Dementia ft. Mark Hoppus from Blink 182.

Mumford & Sons - Lover's Eyes (Live)

An amazing new song from a band everyone's been in love with since they released their debut album, 'Sigh No More.' This live version shows off the skill of all these musicians. I love how they perform in a line, instead of the routine drums in back, bass and keys behind lead vocals/guitar. Gives you a feel of teamwork from the quartet. Look for their new album 'Babel' that is set to release at the end of September.

Eric Turner vs. Avicii - Dancing in my Head

This is a new collaboration between Eric Turner, who sang the hook on Tinie Tempah's 'Written in the Stars', and our beloved Avicii. All I have to say is this Eric Turner has an incredible voice, plus the mix from Avicii is just unbelievable as usual. One of my favorite new grooves currently. Enjoy!

Muse - Madness

This is the single just recently released from one of my favorite bands: Muse. This is off of their upcoming album 'The 2nd Law' and if this tune is any indication, it's going to be stellar. The vocals that kick it off mix in with a hard backbeat to give this song a great feel. Also the soaring vocals at the end are worth waiting for. Definitely be on the lookout for this album in the near future!
