Dylan O’Brien injured on ‘Maze Runner’ set, production halted
Fox has confirmed with Hypable that Maze Runner star Dylan O’Brien was “severely injured” on the Canadian set of the third film, The Death Cure.
The news was originally reported by TMZ on Friday afternoon. According to their report, Dylan was “severely injured” and “suffered multiple broken bones.”
Fox tells us: “Dylan O’Brien was injured yesterday while filming ‘Maze Runner: The Death Cure’ in Vancouver, Canada. He was immediately transferred to a local hospital for observation and treatment. Production on the film will be shut down while he recovers. Our thoughts go out to Dylan for a full and speedy recovery.”
Developing… more soon.

UPDATE:
Fox said he was sent to the hospital. O’Brien apparently fell off the back of a set that was supposed to look like the back of a train and fractured either his cheekbone or orbital socket (still not clear on the details) when he fell on his face. The production has been shut down “while he recovers,” the studio says. His rep, Jennifer Allen, said his prognosis was good.“He will be OK,” she said.

Dylan O'Brien is in recovery. A source confirmed that initial dispatches were misreported. The 24-year-old was not run over by a car, and actually “just hit his head.” We are so glad Dylan is going to be OK!
