Right?
3 important facts you need to know about HIV.
It’s a virus that doesn’t define you as a person, and it will definitely not kill you.
Doctor STD is a global, online community built for people living with STDs. A place to get advice, medical information, and to share your experiences with a ...
We’re launching Doctor STD 2.0.

Answering the FAQ’s about Herpes simplex virus on our website.
How does it show?
How do you get diagnosed?
How does it transmit?
What is it really?
Shit happens and no one deserves it. It can happen to anyone and no one deserves to be shamed for it.
Do you know the first signs of a cold sore? Do you know the different stages and how to prevent it from becoming a huge breakout?
Read more at our website and share tips and experiences with others.
Let’s share positive :)
Do you know what birth controls protect against STI’s and STD’s?
Don’t let your diagnose define you.
Right now we’re stuck in a downward spiral.
When we don’t talk about Herpes, people won’t know what it is until it’s too late. And by the time they’re infected, they won’t have anyone to talk to. Society is putting a shame label on the Herpes virus, using terms like HSV and making it more clinical than it has to be.
Herpes is not the end of the world, and it shouldn’t feel like it is. If you have herpes, you should be able to tell your sexual partner, you might be surprised even; they might not think it’s a big deal! Confidence is sexy, don’t be ashamed to put it all out there.
Yours is Mine offers a safe place to turn to after being diagnosed with a STI related virus. We are also here if you’re worried you might have it but haven’t dared to get tested yet.
Our members share experiences and advice with each other and we’re here to answer any questions you may got.
We only as you to keep a positive attitude. Let’s talk +positive
A +positive diagnosis doesn’t have to mean isolation. The only thing that stops you from dating positively is you. And most important of all- having a positive diagnosis doesn’t make you unlovable. If anyone tells you differently, send them our way. #Letslovepositive
1 in 5 teenagers believe that HIV can be cured and are not worried about the consequences. It is our job to teach them responsibility and to talk to them. In the 1980′s when everyone was scared oh the HIV virus and AIDS, it was on everybody’s lips. We talked about it and information was provided to everyone. When the infections started to decrease, so did the need to get the information out. They say what you doesn’t know won’t hurt you. Well that’s just not true. If today’s teenagers doesn’t know about the symptoms or how to have safe sex, they will end up hurting.
It is our mission to talk +positive and to get this conversation going. We don’t think a positive diagnosis has to be a negative thing, but neither is prevention. Come on people, let’s talk +positive
Our vision is simple but significant, and so is our business model. We want to provide a safe place for our members to interact and share experiences with each other. We want to educate, inform and in the end grow larger to be able to make an real impact. We believe sharing stories can change a life, and sometimes even save one. Our business model and vision is the same: create something that's needed and make it grow. We created this forum and platform, but we're nothing without our members. Help us grow our community and together we can make a difference 🍀
on Yours is Mine we like to talk +positive. Stop the shaming and negativity that comes with a positive diagnose. It doesn’t define the person who has it.
Join us for more positive talk!
Consenting to sex does not mean consenting to an STD if you are not aware the person you are sleeping with has one. I did not consent to an STD, my consent was taken from me as were millions more on this planet. To tell someone by consenting to sex they are consenting to an STD is akin to telling a woman she consented to a child by having sex, or telling a woman she was asking for it after she was raped. You are victim blaming and in this already fucked up society who has enough of that, you are joining the crowd of Brock Turners, the parasites who walk amongst this earth, the liars, the manipulators. You are a genuine piece of shit.
