Celebrating David Tennant’s new Radio Times Cover!

Here are all of the Radio Times covers that David has appeared on.

It’s amazing to see them all lined up like that…David has been very busy the past few years…

I believe he has now surpassed the Queen for number of radio Times covers. Can someone confirm?

Okay.. I did a little research… David is surpassed only by the Queen for number of cover appearances..the Queen has been on the cover 35 times to David’s 25. However, consider this… the Queen’s covers have spanned a 74 year period (she first appeared in 1940 when she was Princess Elizabeth)  I don’t know when David’s first cover was.. but he has amassed 25 cover appearances in A LOT LESS than 74 years…

Re-blogging to include 10andthetardis’ research, because I love facts & figures like that.

David’s first cover was in March 2005 for Casanova, so he’s managed 25 covers in just under 10 years.  That same issue also featured the Radio Times’ preview for Doctor Who (then featuring Christopher Eccleston) - so David’s first Radio Times cover also features a mention of Doctor Who on said cover - a fact that never ceases to amuse me.
