In Animal Village you take a cute lil’ bunny rabbit on a blood soaked survival horror adventure in which you explore a charming looking animal village that harbours some very dark secrets.
A well crafted and very creepy pixel art survival horror adventure that goes down a very dark rabbit hole. Highly recommended.

what the fuck?? why would you draw this? why would you take a relationship between 2 healthy lesbians and take a fat shit all over it??????
^^^^ why can straight people just calm down and let gay people have SOMETHING for once????
Chill out, it’s only a joke
Everything’s “only a joke” to straight people when it’s at gay people, but you call someone “hetero” and “heterophobia is real1!111!!”
This isn’t even a joke at anyone’s expense except for a fictional character.
This isn’t an attack on gay people. Hell, it doesn’t even imply that S actually ends up with Greg.
Just take a deep breath, realize that it really doesn’t matter, and relax.
A fictional character who could potentially be in a gay relationship. Which is, surprise!, something we don’t see a lot. Nothing matters to you all when literally every romance except for a select few is straight. You have no place to say it “doesn’t matter” when literally everything even remotely romantic that happens is going to be heterosexual 99% of the time.
Look, it’s really not that deep. It’s just a silly comic somebody made because of Mystery Girl’s resemblance to Rose.
They’re not implying that Mystery Girl is straight. They’re not even implying that she and Greg end up together.
A silly webcomic that does not affect canon in any way, shape or form, DOES NOT MATTER.
Tumblr user Lethal Cuddles sends gif of iron man sighing to prove point that webcomic abut cartoon doesn’t matter. Thank you tumblr user, but you can easily argue that the cartoon doesn’t matter either. If we’re talking about the potential relationship of fictional characters in a fictional show, a fictional webcomic matters just as much. You can keep saying “it doesn’t matter1!!1!111!!” “It’s just a comic!111!1!” “Ur so sensitive!!1!111!!” But that doesn’t magically make it matter less. The comic implies that they believe Mystery Girl and Greg could have some sort of connection and people responding to this are saying that they even hope the two get together or that they ship it, and it’s taking away the limelight from her potential relationship with Pearl. That’s all ANY heterosexual thing does. It overshadows gay things and makes them seem subpar. Straight people never see the depth of anything because every straight romance now is a repeat and about as deep as a fucking puddle, and a boy and girl looking at each other is true love but two women flirting is just close friendship
I have not seen a single comment in those notes implying that they actually want Greg and Mystery Girl to get together in canon.
The comic does NOT imply that the artist believes Mystery Girl and Greg to have “some sort of connection”. It’s a joke based soley on how much Mystery Girl resembles Rose.
And no, the fictional webcomic does not matter just as much as the fictional show because they are not set in the same canon. The comic is fanon, and isn’t even supposed to be taken remotely seriously. Rebecca Sugar is not going to see this comic and change her plans for the series, if she does plan on using Mystery Girl again (which GOD I hope she does! Seriously, Mystery Pearl is my crack right now)
K, the idea isn’t that it’s “magically going to become canon!!!” sweetie, it’s that the obviously gay character is being pushed aside from a gay relationship in favor of a straight one. When Pearl was still infatuated with Rose, people shipped her with Mayor Dewey. When Pearl goes to Empire City and makes her peace with Greg, people start shipping her with Greg. Now Pearl has this new girl in her life that she might end up with because she’s getting over Rose, and people focus on the fact that there’s the possibility of Mystery Girl and Greg (whether that’s canonical or as a ship, since you have trouble differentiating between the two), and it’s taking away from the attention of Pearl and Mystery Girl getting together or anything of the sort.
You also seem to have some trouble in seeing what the actual point of this comic is. It’s not a shipping comic. Let me explain what the actual joke is:
- Pearl introduces Greg to Mystery Woman - Mystery Woman flirts with Greg a little. - Pearl chases after Greg with the intention to kill him so he can’t steal her girl again, while an oblivious Greg wonders what he did wrong
Anyway, long story short, this has absolutely nothing to do with shipping or erasure.
Straight people are so fuckin thick oh my god “So he can’t steal her girl again” The joke about him getting with the girl that Pearl likes IS the issue here Yes! I can see what the point of the comic is!! I, in fact, do know how to read! Unlike you, though, I also obtain the ability to actually read into things apart from the basic level of what it says. It’s a fun thing you might obtain when you get out of grade school, or the mindset of a grade schooler. It’s joking about him getting with another girl she liked. It’s joking about a straight couple taking over a potential gay couple. It doesn’t matter if it’s a joke. It doesn’t matter if it’s not canonical. It doesn’t matter if it does not affect the show at all. It matters because it’s plain and obvious proof that nothing relating to gay things can exist without someone making a reference to straight relationships, which I’ve had enough of.
I’m not straight. I’m bisexual you silly sausage.
“Unlike you, though, I also obtain the ability to actually read into things apart from the basic level of what it says.”
Well, you might want to get that ability checked out, because you’re reading WAY too much into this. It’s really not that deep.
Nah, dont fucking pull that shit bitch. Don’t even try to play that card with me. If you’re such a fucking dumbass that you can’t see what I’m talking about, I don’t believe for second you aren’t playing the “bisexual card” as in, I’m ok with you calling me straight until there’s no way for this to work out for me without saying I’m gay in some way. Don’t fucking play that card. I’m done, your argument in a nut shell is, “I don’t have an argument so I’m going to repeat “it doesn’t matter” until my fingers bleed”, thanks hetero.
That awkward moment when somebody complaining about erasure of fictional characters actively begins to erase a real person’s sexuality.
I’m done trying to argue here. I genuinely believed that you were just reading too deep into something, but when you’re claiming that I’m lying about my sexuality just because I’m “losing the argument”, that’s where I draw the line.
Fuck you, into the hall of shame. And while I’m at it…
, I don’t believe for second you aren’t playing the “bisexual card”
Oh, you wanna bitch and whine about lesbian erasure yet you’re invalidating a sexuality because he didn’t agree with your point?
People like you who are in the SU fandom are one fucking pathetic joke. You can’t even get a joke and you try and project your own insecurities onto people who aren’t whiny crybabies, and if you can’t handle that sort of thing then you might as well leave and not come back until you’ve matured significantly. I hope that one day you’ll gain a sense of humor and quit shitting yourself over things that don’t matter. It was a fucking comic highlighting how much Mystery Girl is like Rose, and it’s a fucking joke. What makes you think Mystery Girl is a lesbian? Bisexual people exist, but apparently they don’t to you since you just claimed my friend here is hetero, because obviously every single LGBTA person MUST agree with you. It’s not his fault you can’t learn a joke, so don’t take it out on him.
I’m bisexual, and I headcanon Pearl and MG as such. What are you gonna do, OP? Erase my sexuality too like a crybaby?

Freydís Eiríksdóttir (c. 1000 CE): Sword-Slinging Pregnant Viking
The trip to North America was not going as expected.
Leif Eiriksson and his band of Norsemen had come to the shores of North America (or Vinland, as they called it) in the late 900s, and had made an uneasy truce with the local Native Americans (whom they called skrælingjar). Unfortunately, that peace had fallen apart, and a large war party had the Vikings on the run. But one of them wasn’t about to turn tail. Striding toward the red-painted native warriors, Leif’s extremely pregnant sister Freydís insulted the courage of her fellow Norsemen and proclaimed, “Let me but have a weapon, I think I could fight better than any of you.”
The weapon only came to her after she was totally surrounded by skrælingjar, with nary a live ally in sight. Grabbing a sword off a dead clansman, she bared her chest at her enemies, beating her breasts with the flat of her sword and screaming bloody murder.
The skrælingjar, realizing that their foes had left but a single person to fight all of them — and that this person was a pregnant alien striking herself with a foreign weapon and shrieking indecipherable obscenities at them — decided they weren’t about to stick around and figure out why any of this was happening. They wisely ran the hell away.
And that would basically be the beginning, middle, and end of Freydís Eiríksdóttir’s story. Except historians wanted to hold her up as an example. So things get messy.

there’s a population imbalance in China till today because of patriarchal ideas in Chinese culture interacting with the one-child policy. because they were restricted to one child, many parents choose have abortions for no other reason than the baby’s sex. or alternatively, the babies are killed shortly after birth- so that they could instead try for a son who could “continue the family line”. before that, poverty was also a factor, especially if the family already had several girls-sons being seen as more valuable, more capable of being breadwinners and increasing the family’s station. this happened outside the mainland in the Chinese diaspora too, as in my family.
the one-child policy has now been rescinded, but its effect to skew the population pyramid hasn’t just create the problem of too few young people to support a rapidly ageing population. there’s also a lopsided gender ratio.
Not to mention the increase of human sex trafficking and forced marriages of young women from both within China as well as from Southeast Asia to rural areas of China make up for the disparity…
yeah, it’s indeed terrible.
once i went to an event where north korean refugees spoke about their experiences and the women described how they- or people they knew- were trafficked as brides or forced into prostitution when they escaped to China (it’s nigh impossible to escape directly to SKorea via the DMZ so they go the other way- across the Yalu river). they occupy a very, very vulnerable position because they don’t go to the Chinese authorities as they don’t want to be sent back to North Korea, but that’s what will happen if they’re discovered to be North Korean. those that are fortunate enough manage to escape to South Korea (where they automatically get citizenship as the SKorean government holds itself as the rightful govt of the entire peninsular) or try and seek asylum in other embassies.

Samuel Fosso, Self-Portraits as Mao Zedong, from the series Emperor of Africa, 2013 (all images via Aperture)
This series is an amazing critique on China’s imperialist expansion across the African continent by Cameroonian photographer, Samuel Fosso. When I saw the project, I was blown away by how the critique it levies evokes Chinese CCP propaganda which featured Africans in the 60s as well.
Two examples of that propaganda is below:
While ostensibly evoking warm amicable feelings of solidarity between Chinese and African people, there is a strong racist paternalistic undercurrent in much of this propaganda. While denouncing white, western imperialism, Chinese CCP propaganda replaced a white savior with a Chinese savior in the image of Chairman Mao. This is most clearly depicted in the following piece of propaganda, titled simply “Savior”:
In much of this propaganda, Africans were rendered with little agency beyond what they could muster following the lead of China and Chairman Mao in particular. He was the “Savior” for Africans that we supposedly needed in the stead of the white saviors who had come before them.
Fosso ingeniously subverts this imagery of Mao as a savior and emperor of the African continent through this self-portraiture series. And his series is incredibly relevant as we are currently witness China’s imperialist pursuits metastasize across the continent. As Arundhati Roy says, there are two tools of global imperialism and corporate globalization, the “check book” and the “cruise missile.”
As she says in The Checkbook and the Cruise Missile:
Once you understand the process of corporate globalization, you have to see that what happened in Argentina, the devastation of Argentina by the IMF, is part of the same machine that is destroying Iraq. Both are efforts to break open and to control markets. And so Argentina is destroyed by the chequebook, and Iraq is destroyed by the cruise missile. If the chequebook won’t work, the cruise missile will. Hell hath no fury like a market scorned.
Although China’s expansion across the African continent has not been with the cruise missile, it has deftly used its check book to the same effect- coming to economically dominate many African countries with its own interests in our natural resources. To date, more than 2,000 Chinese companies have now invested in African countries. Furthermore, although there is not a firm number on the scale of these investments, Tian Xuejun, the Chinese ambassador to South Africa in 2012 stated that these investments exceeded $40 billion.
[Chinese President Xi Jinping is greeted by Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe as he arrives on Dec. 1, 2015, in Harare. (Jekesai Njikizana/AFP), Image via Washington Post]
Despite the rampant human rights abuses documented at some Chinese operations on the African continent, many of our corrupt African leaders continue to welcome China (and its checkbook) with open arms. And now after years of encroachment, the imperialist nature of the “economic work” China is doing on the continent, if not apparent earlier, has become obvious. In Zimbabwe, for example, the Chinese government provided more than $1 billion in low interest loans to that government over the last few years. After this, just last year in December of 2015, Zimbabwe officially announced plans to adopt China’s currency the yuan, as its own, in exchange for a cancelation of $40 million of debt- effectively becoming an economic vassal state of China. And similar economic expansionist efforts by the Chinese government are not just happening in Zimbabwe, but in many other African countries as well.
This idea of a Chinese “emperor” of the African continent is therefore not far fetched- in fact it’s becoming an increasing reality as China uses its checkbook to expand its influence and subjugate the continent. Lamido Sanusi, Nigeria’s former central bank governor, said that Africa is opening itself up to a “new form of imperialism”, in which China takes African raw materials and sells back its manufactured ones, without transferring skills, just like the European colonial masters of yore (x). So little has changed, besides the face of the imperialist in question. And this is the critique that Fosso so brilliantly levies in this self-portrait series as the “Emperor of Africa.”
And it should go without saying but- no, this is not “yellow face,” as we must contextualize this series within the power relationships of the African continent where China is an imperialist force. Fosso’s critique of these power relationships is not only relevant but incredibly necessary.

IGN: Here’s A Zelda Majora’s Mask Comparison Video Of Nintendo 3DS Vs Nintendo 64
Someone was bound to do it and it seems as though it’s IGN that has produced the first side by side comparison video of…
Straight translation from Reddit:
CINEMATIC Linkle: Uhn Townsman: Heeeeeey, Linkle! Townsman: There’s trouble! Apparently Hyrule Castle is being attacked by a Demon! Linkle: What!? REALLY!? Townsman: We’ve received word that even Zelda is engaged in battle but if the Demon gets to our village…. Linkle Changes and bursts through the door Townsman: that outfit is … ? Linkle: I’ve decided! I will defeat this Demon! Linkle: It’s just like my grandmother once told me! I am the reincarnated hero after all! Townsman: Just because you’ve always liked to pretend to be the hero… Linkle: LOOK! Linkle: Surely this compass passed down from my grandmother is proof that I am the hero! Linkle: I will protect the peace in Hyrule!
NARRATED STORY Cucco shepherd Linkle was from a small village where she lived leisurely. From the time she was small she has believed that she is the reincarnated hero. One day a rumor had spread to her village that a Demon was attacking Hyrule Castle. When Linkle heard this she donned a dashing green outfit. With the old compass passed down from her grandmother and her special crossbow in hand she set out from the village. Relying on a map and a compass, it was Linkle’s aim to reach Hyrule castle but… Soon she found herself lost, wandering around in a forest with a suspicious atmosphere. Then a demon child wearing a mysterious mask appeared and robbed Linkle of her treasured compass. That compass is surely the mark of the hero and she absolutely must get it back! Linkle’s first trial was about to begin.
Additional Notes In the narrated story part, the name in the top left portion of the screen translates to “Girl in Green (clothing)”.
It’s also interesting to note that it appears Linkle’s narrative starts close to the beginning of Link’s narrative (around the 3rd mission)… until now many had assumed it started at the end of the HW story.

Let me tell you about my panda mini-washer
As an apartment dweller, this is a game changer. My current apartment doesn’t have a laundry facility and the closest Laundromat about a 30 min bus ride which is just not practical. The mini-washer is a life saver
The panda mini washer hooks up to the sink, is incredibly lightweight (about 28 pounds, so light even I can lift it) and easy to use.
It has a surprisingly large capacity. The basket from the first picture represents about one and a half loads. The jeans took up a whole load while the rest filled the bin only half way.
Here’s the inside. The left is the washer the right is the spin dryer. Yes, it even drys.
Basically you shove your cloths into the washer, fill it up with water and let it go. I use my shower head to fill it up so it goes faster, the sink hook up took about five minutes to fill the whole tub, with the shower head is is down to a minute an a half. I do it in three wash cycles, a five minute rinse with baking soda, a five minute wash with soap and a three minute rinse with water. You have to drain and refill between each cycle so it’s a little more labor intensive than a traditional washer.
That’s the spin dryer. It’s about half the capacity of the washer so one wash takes about two loads to dry. The spinner is much more effective than I was expecting. A three minute spin gets my cloths about 90% dry. I hang them up to air dry for that last 10%.
The machine cost me about 150$. When you factor in two dollars for the bus, five for the machines (per week), the mini-washer pays for its self after only about six months worth of laundry.
I’m not great at expressing emotion, but I’m hoping you can tell how excited I am. Let me just say that the panda mini-washer is great and I highly recommend it to anyone currently using a Laundromat.
Read this and immediately bought it on Amazon for $180. I spend $15 a week to have my laundry done so this pays for itself in 3 months for me. THANK YOU JESUS.
@ all my nyc pendejas
Oh by the way, they have table top dishwashers that are pretty much the same thing:
This is one of the biggest technological breakthroughs for the everyday homeowner in the current decade: the realization that refrigerators aren’t the only things that can be miniaturized for better affordability and minimal space requirements.
Can you IMAGINE how this is going to change the lives of college students and apartment-dwellers? Or anyone with a lower income who can’t afford a place with “luxury” appliances like dishwashers and laundry machines?
There’s an even cheaper option called the Wonder Wash where you tumble the thing yourself and you’ll have to line-dry the clothes, but it apparently works very well.
the Wonder Wash actually has higher reviews than the panda washer, and is what i’m planning on getting
