Random Yu-Gi-Oh Post-

Uh so my sibling has been talking about Yugioh for a while right. I watched it when I was little so I barely remembered what happened in it, however this has been a reoccurring obsession for them for a while so I decided to watch a video going over the series and my memories started coming back to me. My sibling came up with multiple reimagining ideas for Yugioh, this includes mainly Yugioh, GX, and Arc-V. The other two I have no aspirations to rewatch because I have only heard bad things about them-

Anyways what’s really important for this post is that they had an idea, where Bakura worked alongside the spirit in the ring. Making Bakura a more morally ambiguous character that is of course friends with Yugi but in a debt to this spirit in the ring forming a weird bond with it. Of course that means the spirit would have to be less violent than in the original and my sibling suggested that any more violent actions would be seen as either a necessity or acting out of character. I think from that explanation it’d work similarly to how the spirit in the puzzle worked in season 0, putting people in comas or making them go insane. The main cast would only figure out about this alliance with Bakura and his spirit in the later seasons. I don’t know if this is like an absolutely horrible change for Bakura but from what I’ve seen it mainly opens up space for development on both characters rather then making one pure evil and the other a non-character (that are both beat out by Kaiba in relevance to most of the storylines). Btw I haven’t read the manga so if it does something better I am unaware-

If you’re wondering I don’t think my sibling actually liked any of this art, from what I was told even though they were struggling with designing the hair they already liked all of their original ideas way more (I think cuz they had the designs for so long but then why even mention it was an issue?) ….I probably won’t draw Yugioh again🥲

This is the scene that inspired this comic

This scene also uses a reimagined version of the plot and characters. I don't really plan on making anything with them so these posts basically serve to help show them off. Comment questions I will answer lol but I'll explain what I think is most confusing.

This is a costume party at Brownies house for Olives birthday. The reimagined game focuses on both Angel and Brownie that's why they split off and are more combative.

Brownie is internally struggling with comparing herself to Angel, she thinks she adds nothing to the friend group and that she isn't helpful. Angel is dealing with identity issues like in the other post. However this is the game meant to cover it.

Ginger mentions a conversation that she had with Angel which is inspired off of a separate art piece where Sparky is talking to Angel. I could make a post for that if anyone would want to read that lol!

Also Ginger is more assertive and stuff and her goal is to help the other zombies cuz deep down she wishes the school would respect her. She is working with Patches cuz he gave her the plan to do almost all of this. They barely work together well because they both blame each other for anything that goes wrong. Ginger is still a work in progress character but she does act really shy when alive. Being a ghost kind of makes her feel free so she acts out more-

Anyways also in my variants of these characters Patches and Olive's personalities naturally gravitate to one another. I wanted to show Olive almost instantly warming up to Patches as Angel. For fun have this written scene I made a while ago that demonstrates them in my version of game 1:

Now that it’s over imma share my attacks, I was lowkey overwhelmed with it but still had fun. The most disappointing thing was that the same few characters got attacked like 3 of my characters didn’t get attacked. Next year I’ll remove some of the characters cuz it felt like people were picking the easier ones to draw at points🥹🥹🥹. But lowkey I couldn’t stay mad cuz everyone was still so good no matter who they drew!! I’m glad I got attacks at all cuz some of my friends got absolutely none—

Ginger: I’m so sorry!

Angel: it worked, didn’t it?

Anywaaaaaaaaaaaays this is the full version of a little comic idea I had, this featuring my reimagined characters so everyone is a little different. Whiskers doesn’t have a crush on Angel in this idea cuz he’s in 12th grade, instead he is meant to be a character who sugar coats things and try’s to not be negative. This inspired off of an mlp character, bet you can’t guess which one lol. Anyways Mitt is meant to mirror this being devoted to the truth so when whisk lies they will say what he actually meant. Felix is mostly the same cuz he was funny.

Coco seems more lively in this but in this universe coco lowkey hates the Elite Magic Club cuz they are bunch of pricks- Coco thinks it’s annoying they value their magic higher then anyone else just cuz they were born “better”. Coco is also more of a silent secluded type which makes her seem either mysterious and cool or scary. But she really is sweet on the inside she just doesn’t got a lot to say lol.

Angel is the most interesting one I’d say I kind of made him unsure of his true identity, when he died it was due to a blunt injury on his head. So he doesn’t quite remember a lot when he is summoned by coco but the spell coco specifically uses is meant to summon a ghost to help you. Thus the soul is bound to yours as well, so Angel acts kind of sorta like an empty husk. Till Olive helps him remember more about himself. By patches Infurno he already should know who he is and his identity as person but I kinda got rid of that to make this scene more interesting. Thus anyone with magic power in the friend group could boss him around and he’d do it cuz he doesn’t want to be a bother- and the cloudy eyes with black shaded over them is supposed to show that!

Okay finally Ginger she is kind of playing up the persona she put on during PA 2 (of course the reimagined version I only have in my head). She is trying to intimidate the Wicheans into helping out. My idea for this Ginger is she wants to be tough and PA 2 was her opportunity to do that and finally have people respect her but I’ll show that in another post 😌

Update of My Hell

I have a 13 page four swords review that I’m finishing up! I just have to finish scanning the pages I’ll use in the background. Growing up is realizing Blue was one of the best characters in the story no it’s not cuz I have anger issues I’m being serious.

I burnt myself out on art fight I don’t know if I’ll be able to attack everybody back before the end of the month. I made this little sketch of my egotistical character reacting to all the slay queens getting attacked and not him. I appreciate all my attacks though lol I like all my characters equally I just don’t draw him often.

I need a new computer if I’m going to make the other muffins videos and I’m so dirt poor I ain’t got the funds. I have been very unmotivated cuz the longest chapter had all of its audio corrupt except the first few minutes….

I have all my commissions open still sorry I haven’t been posting the art I’ve made for the people commissioning me I’ll get to that soon!
