brown eyes shifted to look at the blonde as she mentioned still owing him one, giving a soft laugh. “you don’t owe me anything,” he stated. he looked at his friend before shifting in his seat. “no you’re not interrupting.” he responded looking at her. “i was just adding some updates to a design. what’s up dom?” javier spun his cup around in front of him.

“I’m pretty sure I owe you more than you know.” Dom assured him with a soft laugh. It wasn’t often the women laughed these days but she always felt comfortable with the male around - he gave her a sense of peace. “Well, I have a favour to ask. I’m looking at doing some renovations on the restaurant and I need someone to make my ideas come together on paper. Do you think you’d be able to help me?”

javier had been drawing on his ipad, ipad pencil tracing across the screen as he listened to the client he was on the phone with, working in the details they were hoping for. a smile on his lips as the client hung up their end. he started working on their requests and drawing the details of the house. he took a drink of his cafe cubano before setting it back down on the table.

he heard someone take a seat across from him, and set his ipad down. locking the device to give the other person his full attention, javi looked across the table at the other and smiled at them. “did you order a drink yet? i can get you something to drink,” he stated reaching for his wallet.

While Dom knew she could have made coffee at the restaurant - there was nothing like going elsewhere and not having to deal with the dishes. Walking into Cup O’Joes - she had spotted Javier quickly. The woman was not usually one who bothered people about work without booking a meeting but she had been so busy that she thought she’d play take a chance.

“Javier.” She stated with a smile, as she slid into the chair opposite him. The male was one of the few that Dominique still enjoyed talking to. “No, need to buy me a drink - I’m pretty sure I still owe you one.” The blonde replied quickly, before tilting her head to the side. “Am I interrupting?”
