Almost a month after the return of Druella Rosier, and questions about her disappearance still linger on. No one is quite sure what truly happened to the witch, as she has no recollection of the events herself. But time heals all wounds, or so they say, and Cygnus has declared this is a time for celebration!
With his wife back at home, Cygnus Black has decided to hold a special ball of unrivalled spectacle. Open to all of the wizarding world, regardless of blood or financial status, the Black patriarch has hired out the entirety of Hogwarts, taking advantage of the summer break and space, for an event like no other to celebrate his wife’s safe return.
The black-tie event, held in Hogwarts’ Great Hall, is, surprisingly, free to attend, allowing for a true celebration from the entire magical world. But while the ball is free to attend, Cygnus Black has announced in a press conference that the most important part of this event is not the extravagance or outfits or the stunning musical talents that are set to perform, but to help the community come together as one, to help those who need it, and there are a few ways attendees can give back.
A raffle, with prizes including the latest Comet 220, tailored dress robes from Twilfitt and Tattings, and an original Degas painting, will help raise funds for Pur Societatis and their efforts to help those still struggling from the aftermaths of the war.
Profits from the bar sales will also go to helping the community, through a fund for Hogwarts students in need.
This event will last for two weeks, from noon EST on the 15th to the 29th of August, after which no new starters should be posted. However, any threads created during the event can, of course, continue
