So Matilda’s strong young mind continued to grow, nurtured by the voices of all those authors who had sent their books out into the world like ships on the sea. These books gave Matilda a hopeful and comforting message: You are not alone.
Roald Dahl, Matilda (via wordsnquotes)
Even at your worst, you are fucking incredible.
Buddy Wakefield (via wordsnquotes)
Dear Me, one day I’ll make you proud.
Charlotte Eriksson (via wordsnquotes)
These are the stories that we tell ourselves and only ourselves, and they are better left unshared.
Jim Crace, Harvest (via wordsnquotes)
I am awfully sentimental. Of books, belongings, people, places. It matters very little how positive or negative the experience was. If it shared some meaningful time in my life, I’ll have trouble letting go.
Beau Taplin, “Sentimental” (via wordsnquotes)
I don’t trust anyone who hasn’t been self-destructive in some way. And who hasn’t gone through some sort of self-loathing. You’ve got to bang yourself around a bit to know yourself.
Johnny Depp (via wordsnquotes)
Of course, upon sliding up to his chair where he was seated, would she slip her hands onto his shoulders and lean over the back of seat to stretch her hands down over his chest. Lips checked upon his jawline before her cheek pressed to his, a gentle smile curling at her lips.
—♬❝Bien sûr que non. I would never go out of my way to see my two favourite boyfriends.”
Her only boyfriends, really, but he would get the point.
—♬❝Non, non. Annabelle is watching Amelia today, so I’m free to loiter about the cafe today. I see you’re in a good mood this afternoon!”
A trickle of laughter would worm it's way from your chest when she would situate herself upon your seated frame. Your lips drawn taut with delight, arms stretched overhead to drape so loosely over whichever part pf the pianist they could rest themselves over. Ever the content one when she would grace the cafe with her presence, though rarely the one to express yourself should there be things to draw your attention from the lazy joys of your day. Which, much to the dismay of others, would simply be the life of the younger Donatello; ever the worrier, ever the stressed out brother. To be able to grace the world with such the pleasant mood would surely not be a thing to enjoy while it lasted.
♫ — ❝Est-ce vrai? Shame. Leone would of loved to see her this morning. He's been snacking away and would probably slip her something when you aren't looking.❞
Such was how the elder twin was; an overgrown child who doted the ever loving hell out of the child your girlfriend had taken to raising. He simply adored Amelia and spoiled her rotten—not that you could say you weren't guilty of such treason. If Leone hadn't slipped the infant something sweet and easily sopped away, it certainly was you who did such a thing behind Moji's back.
♫ — ❝But, of course I'm in a good mood. You've graced our little cafe, non?❞
You're just going to... Idly eat a donut. What a boring day at the cafe today.
Did someone call for a cute pianist sweeping in through the back like she belonged there? No? Too bad, because she just let herself in, graced Leone with a bit of attention, and made her way to the back.
—♬❝Good afternoon, Michon!”
Speak of the devil, here she comes now. Into the back, with a comfort much like she had been working in the little cafe since the day you and your brother started it up, the darling girlfriend shared between twins arrived to shower you with her love. What nicer thing to assist an already good mood, but to have your beloved around?
♫ — ❝Afternoon, Moji. Comment allez-vous? Not going out of your way to see us today, are you?❞
Cute pianist senses are tingling. Someone's going to be visiting again soon. Too bad you don't have the front right now. Oh well, Moji'll come into the back to see you regardless, and that was very well and nice.
♫ — ❝Well, Christmas turned into a clusterfuck of mistletoe at every angle and sweaters getting ruined. Not as bad as last year, at least.❞
New Years was worse, honestly.
{ Kyubey }:
I did not wish my identity to be known by other trainers. You do know what happens when trainers hear about legendaries, do you not?
Kyubey knew there Pokemon in space which, Deoxys was one of them. He could easily pull this off considering not many knew about the wonders in their own world. For those who make lore of Pokemon in troubled times it’s a great wonder.
Tell me, boy…Have you heard of Deoxys? Perhaps that will help you there.
♪ — ❝Mn, oui. I used to read up on Hoenn and it's happenings with my brother when we were younger. Are you trying to say you're...?❞
If it were a Legendary Pokemon, that would make more sense, wouldn't it? That would of explained so much in such a short amount of time, and you may have expressed the reaction it claimed to of evaded. And who would blame you for acting in such a way? It was hardly an every day thing, coming upon a fabled Pokemon. Of course you would be excited, but—
—It was just that. There was something wrong with the story you were fed.
Rather that it avoided the point, molded to your wit. Suspicious behavior, one would call it. You were not nearly as sharp as Michon, but you could key on when something was afoot. Most of the time.
♪ — ❝I don't buy it. You've changed your story, and there's too big of a gap between them. Are you sure you're a Pokemon?❞
Best friends.

The Kyubey can’t believe how easy this boy was to fool but he will not complain. He’ll go over in a most dainty of manner as if appearing delicate.
"Pyuuu….."
I am a special type of Abra, those special kinds where we are quite rare. My trainer called me Kyubey before he had passed…
Oh, granted that there were an innumerable amount of anomalies to Pokemon. More than simply the hue of their coat, shells and skin. That was true. Yet it was all sorts of... Wrong, you wanted to say. This Pokemon—Kyubey, it said it was named—was an Abra? With eyes as round and bright as they were, and it's coat whiter than the winter's first snow? You were calling bullshit, even if you were the one incorrect.
♪ — ❝I don't know. I've seen Abras before, and you don't look anything like one. They're usually sleeping around and not very... Chatty. Are you sure?❞
”!!!”
Here, we have Kyubey swaying his tails when he spots the individual.
“Pyuuuu.” Hello there, I’m a psychic Pokemon!
Kyubey you liar, you.
And, here we have Leone. A grown man who co-owns a cafe, and an avid Pokemon trainer. Who was unfortunately the poor fool buying this.
♪ — ❝Really? What kind of Pokemon are you then? I've never seen something like you before. I don't think anyone has.❞
♪ — ❝... I want it. I don't know what kind of Pokemon it is, but I want it.❞
Leone, no. Kyubey is not a Pokemon—
