Awesome.
I’m Betty, by the way.
Thank you.
I am Drax, one of the non-Terran professors.
How could you stop them? They’re really big and…. scary.
I am a proud warrior of my people. I would figure something out.
Were you hurt as well?
You’ve seen them using one another for the entirety of their history, and binds being as weak as they are here, it is nothing for someone else to control that living, working flesh, no?
I have not. I am new to this planet.
It does not make any of this right. Nothing should be worth the loss of a child, more so this amount. Many of my students are not ready for war, nor the losses it entails.
A lot of things we do require metal.
Which is pretty sucky considering our current predicament. But what are you gonna do? You’re helping to clean up, too? Damn, Drax, when do you even sleep? Wait no don’t answer that.
It would appear to be the case.
Indeed. Yes. I wasn't very effective in fighting the robots, but I can help in the aftermath. Not very often. I heard that you were in the hospital. Are you healing well?
Mortal’s are idiotic. And slow. It should really not be a surprise.
Many things are strange on Terra, but I doubt that they had the foresight to not use something another could control.
Do you need some help with that?
I would appreciate it greatly.
You shouldn’t go near the metal things… they might come back to life…
I haven't been around them; I've been cleaning up the mess they've made.
But if they were to come back to life, I would stop them.
mr state trooper. please don’t stop me. please don’t stop me.

I didn't think that Terran construction relied on metal this much.
Cleaning up will take longer than I assumed.
I will fight beside you. And in the end, I will see my wife and daughter again.
What does their bedroom look like?
Drax’s sleeping quarters are usually pretty tidy and well maintained - well, as clean as the Milano can be. Tucked in an out of the way section of said quarters, Drax keeps the few possessions of his family that he had, until recently, kept on his person. There are also supplies that he has bought or borrowed to in order to keep parts of his culture with him and alive and well during downtimes (though he was never good at those sorts of things).
Midgard Hospitals Smell Strange.
I don’t like them…
Terran hospitals do have a strange scent to them. I don't think I'll ever get used to it.
What is this upcoming rally?
Neither do I.
We should be there. Â We cannot stand by while innocents might be in danger.
Agreed.
This is the first time we've been... agreeable with each other. Strange.
What is this upcoming rally?
Is protection needed?
I'm not sure.
But I don't like this.
You should try reading from authors like Sylvia Plath or George Orwell. They will change your opinion on novels.
It seems your planet is very driven with sayings and the like; it's very different than my own.
Thank you. Do you have any recommendations from these authors?
I never had any interest in reading it. Seemed boring. But what was you’re opinion on it?Â
It's a ridiculous novel.
Some parts were too strange or outlandish, such as cigarettes being metaphors.
I think I saw the commercial for the movie, but is that really a novel? They just do not write them like they used to.
That is what it is described to be.
I cannot say if that is the case; I haven't read many Terran novels.
