What is your biggest regret?
Whatâs the point of regretting anything at all..
Vicki regrets PLENTY. But not being the best sister and role model for Matt and causing him so much grief and pain is her biggest. They were all eachother had while their mother was so in and out of their lives, and Vicki abandoned him more than once. She was the reason for a lot of his sadness and depression, and she still canât understand why he still wants anything to do with her. Heâs forgiven her and she hasnât even once apologized.
Would you rather chop your toe off or eat it?
âIâd rather chop off your dick and make you eat it.â
hope-less-mikaelson:
Hope tried to come off much less overwhelmed then she actually was as she turned to fumble with her backpack for a moment before pulling out a matchbox and holding it, presenting it to the other female.
She pulled one out and struck it on the strike pad, holding out the flame in an offer to light the cigarette before waving it out and dropping the used match and shrugging. âI have a thing with matches, theyâre more fun to use than lighters. I also really like candles which is such a weird thing now that Iâm saying out loud.â She laughed slightly.
âItâs fine, I feel like I definitely look twelve anyway. Common mistake.â She said with a shrug, unsure if it was a self-deprecating comment or not. She couldnât help but let out the small laugh that bubbled in her stomach. âYeah, well, itâs not that big of a deal when youâre kind of a freak yourself.â She said, another self-deprecating comment. âWhat about you, why are you out so late?â
Vicki leaned over with the filter between her lips, puffing the cigarette until it was lit, and then standing back to take her first deep inhale while listening to the girl speak. A thing with matches.. and a thing with candles.. It easily came to mind that this girl might be somehow involved with witchcraft, witches, or just fancied the idea of them both. That kind of assumption came naturally when you were no longer unfamiliar about the supernatural world, and no longer oblivious that it actually existed. Had this been before Vicki was turned into a vampire, Vicki might have just thought the girl worked at Bed, Bath, and Beyond or something. But nothing was that innocent in Vickiâs eyes anymore.
When she asked her why she was also out so late, Vickiâs truthful answer would be that she was itching for some fun and hoping to grab something to eat along the way. But in this city it seemed too impossible, and she knew sheâd have to leave to the outskirts of town if she was going to be feeding. Instead of saying that, she flicked her thumb against the filter of the cigarette to remove the ash, licking her lips with a puzzling smile. âWell,â she exhaled a cloud of smoke in the girlâs direction, a faint rush to her head relaxing her as she glared through the haze of smoke that seemed to dance around the blonde before rising in the air. âI guess you can say I just find the night more inviting than the day.. Iâm a bit of a night walker..â In more than one way. âAnd I guess in some ways I might just be a freak too.. like you.. though, Iâm curious now--â she took another hit from the cigarette before finishing her thought, âwhat makes you call yourself a freak? Have anything to do with your love for candles and matches or something? Maybe youâre a..â she ran her tongue across her top row of teeth, the word witch fighting to be said, âpyromaniac or some shit?â

Castiel had been standing in the exact same spot for three hours. Literally, not moving for hours. It wasnât as if he got bored,or had anything better to do, on the contrary that was the best use of his time at the moment. He was very dormant, waiting to be of use to somebody, whether is be Dean or Sam, possibly even Vicki, he just waited for his ancient flip phone to ring. Castiel wasnât dependent per say, he just didnât have any responsibilities or things to get done. He had no bills to pay or a necessary need to eat (although it was nice) and no job to attend to, so thus he spent his days waiting.
He intended to continue doing as such for the rest of the night because last he had heard from the brothers, Sam was out, supposedly on a date of some sort, and Dean and claimed he was tired, saying that he would speak with Castiel the following day. He had no idea of the whereabouts of Vicki but he just assumed the vixen was out, learning to re-enjoy living among other things. Castiel was rather surprised by the reactions he had a tendency to get due to his standing around. Some people would look at him as if he were crazy and others would hand him change, which he simply didnât understand. Dean said it was the trench coat, Cas argued Dean had no style.
Castiel tried to think of alternatives, deciding perhaps standing in place wasnât the way to go. He thought of a few possibilities, he could go get food, but he didnât have money. He could always watch Dean sleep again, but it wasnât late enough that he was sure the hunter wouldnât be woken by Casâ appearance. He tapped his foot for a moment, deciding a walk through the forest would work.
The only problem was that Cas couldnât think of any local forests, so he thought maybe he should just teleport himself across the world, it would only take but a moment and it wasnât like he was doing anything wrong, but he still felt a reluctance. He crossed that idea out and tried to think of more options, he had hours to decide. Maybe if her even liked the idea enough he could do it a few nights a week. That gave him the idea of going to a comedy club, that might be fun. The only problem was that Castiel wasnât sure if he was funny or understood modern comedy enough to even attempt to execute that idea.
As he thought this, his phone went off, he picked the cellular device up almost subconsciously, not so much as glancing at the caller I.D before picking it up. âHel-â He tried to answer before he was abruptly cut off, somewhat surprised to hear Vickiâs voice on the line. He was even more surprised to hear there was something important and wasted no time popping into the backseat of the impala. âI am here.â Castiel said into the phone upon arriving before hanging up and glancing around, noticing they were the only two in the car. âWhere is Dean? Is he in danger?â He said immediately upon realizing that the Winchester was not in the vehicle. It was the first conclusion he came to, partially because of his wifely instincts, partially because she canât imagine a situation in which Dean would willingly give the brunette the car.
This whole teleporting thing was something sheâd definitely have to get used to, Vicki slightly jumping not out of fear, but surprise. She quickly turned her eyes to the rear view, a bright blue pair just over her shoulder visible even through the darkness of the night. Castiel was quick in showing his immediate concern for Dean--and with him being the first person on the angelâs mind, it definitely showed his loyalty and care to the man. Vicki locked her phone and tossed it to the passenger seat, a million lies coming to mind. âDean uh--â she paused for a moment, her hand raising to adjust the mirror so she could see Castiel better through it, âhad some other shit to take care of, no worries! He.. let me get the ride to do a little solo mission. Except I wasnât feeling the solo part. Hence why I called you.â She looked back to the road, taking another sharp turn she nearly missed as the impala swerved. âSo, youâre stuck with me for the night---howâs that sound?â
Grabbing a beer from her bag and pushing the rest to the floor, she tapped her fingers against the passenger seat for Castiel to switch from the back, leaving the beer hanging mid air from her hand. âHere. Bet Dean doesnât let you ride shot gun.â
Alright you nosey freaks.

Vicki licked the tips of her fingers, a piece of unfinished burger she found in the fridge easily devoured--mostly out of spite and not hunger. People wanted to touch her things, so she could play just as petty around here. Shutting the fridge with a kick of her heel, she slid the opened beer--that also wasnât hers--across the counter before she made her way out of the kitchen. Their makeshift home was quiet this evening, no one having come back yet besides Dean who was now taking a shower. A curious mind wandered, but then her immature anger corrected the entire mental image of Dean--he was the enemy of the week and wouldnât be forgiven until her Jack was replaced. Tilting the beer to her lips, her green eyes moved across the living room and to the large coffee table where Dean left his belongings. Boredom was easily sinking in, along with a whole lot of restlessness, and as Vicki walked to the table a mischievous smirk wore itself on her lips.
âHmm.â With a dull hum her fingers grazed the fabric, flinging Deanâs jacket off the table to uncover a set of keys and a few receipts. Her eyes shot to the bathroom door, watching the steam continue to roll from beneath, and the sound of water still silencing her moves on this side of the door. She looked back to the keys and didnât give it a second thought. A night drive sounded inviting, and the impala was moaning her name. With no need for stealth movement since being stopped wasnât an option, she was out of the front door with a bag on her shoulder and a few beers tucked inside it.Â
The brunette bounced to the car, unlocking and swinging the driver door open. She made herself comfortable, her hands admiring the steering wheel for a few seconds before she placed the key in the ignition. âSâbeen too long.â Starting the engine of the impala she put the car in reverse and revved the gas, the back scraping into the cement as it jerked and bounced out of the driveway. Vicki quickly aligned the black beauty with the direction of the street, headed for the quickest way out of the city.
One hand on the wheel and one navigating across the radio panel, she figured sheâd head to this Bayou she heard about from a little vamp she met at The Bronze. And while that sounded like a plan, it then crossed her mind that not only would four eyes be better then two, but also that it would be a rather boring ass night if she did this shit alone. With her hand now off the radio, she fiddled in her purse that was sitting in the passenger seat, finally locating her phone and unlocking the screen. She quickly navigated to her call logs, looking at the few contacts she had acquired over the last few weeks from Mystic Falls all the way to good âol Nola.
âMatt--fuck no,â she moved a finger through the recent calls on her phone, âSam smells like a snitch,â she grumbled, a thumb passing by numbers she didnât recognize until she landed on Castielâs number. âOf course.â Dialing the number, she held the cell phone to her ear and listened to the outgoing ringing. She waited, and once she heard even the slightest sign that he had answered, she left no room for him to get a word in. âHey angel face,â she cooed into the phone with a lick of her lips and a smile. Lifting her shoulders with an excited breath, she swerved and cut another corner. âYou are very much needed at my current location, something important just came up.â She eyed the street sign quickly. âHeading east on Lafayette.â
Itâs painful and pointless and overrated.
Except when it isnât.

Vicki pinched the bridge of her nose with her thumb and middle finger, eyes shut tight as she tossed one more time on the couch. She had been tossing and turning all morning thanks to her dry supply of human blood. For whatever reason, Matt was taking much longer than usual with those damn blood bags from a hospital connection they were able to pull off, all thanks to little manipulation. And this craving and hunger was now causing the biggest migraine of her entire immortal and past mortal life combined. Sheâd be glad when she can leave during the day on her own free will, then hunger wouldnât be such a problem.
With an impatient growl, she kicked herself up and off of the couch, stepping over a still sleeping Sam as she angrily stomped towards the small kitchen they all shared (unfortunately). Swinging open the fridge door, she pushed aside whatever junk these guys ate, looking for her own stash of goodies. âBingo, this should fix it,â she whispered to herself, snatching the bottle from the fridge. Vicki held it up to eye the volume, leaning it from side to side to make sure her eyes werenât playing tricks on her----someone had been drinking it (most likely it was her, she just had a habit of forgetting how much she actually drinks). âYouâve gottaâ be fucking kidding me--â
With her lips curled and her eyebrows knitted with frustration multiplied by ten (because hungry vampie wampies arenât nice), she stormed out of the kitchen, leaped over Sam once more, and slammed her hand against the bathroom door with enough strength of 1,000 lanky pre-teen boys. The door flew open, a little bit harder maybe it would have went flying off the hinges, and she stepped in ignoring and disregarding whatever the hell Dean was doing. Shaving his peach fuzz and what not.
âI thought we talked about the importance of privacy and personal space on the drive here.â Lifting up the bottle of Jack Daniels from behind her back, she waved it in front of Deanâs face. âSeriously?!â
hope-less-mikaelson:
Hope was hesitant when she finally got to face the female head-on. She held an intimidating aura about her, it was almost unsettling. She paused, skimming the girls frame. This was another thing that Hope wasnât used to in the average world, random confrontation. She wasnât used to people approaching her and asking for things, where she was made to grow up, things like that would get you hurt, badly.Â
She found herself staring at the girl somewhat confused, it was a delayed sort of response, to say her social skills were a tad bit off was an understatement. She had no idea how to talk to people and this was one of those situations, just filled with pure confusion.
Once the girl repeated herself she remained still, almost as if what was said didnât process. She tried to think of the answer, she didnât have a lighter, that much was for sure. âI donât, sorry.â She replied, frowning slightly and shaking her head.
âBut I do have matches!â She said, trying to get the girls attention again before she walked away. âIâm sixteen by the way.â She added, with a shrug. âNot that it matters.â
Vicki took note of the girlâs hesitant response, about to brush the entire conversation off anyway since it looked like she wasnât even going to budge a polite no. She didnât blame her, since well behaved young women shouldnât talk to strangers. Vicki wouldnât know a thing about that.
But the thought of walking away changed when the girl finally spoke up, Vicki turning her shoulder again to face her direction. âSweet.â She licked her lips, emerging from her shaded spot and stepping into the dimly illuminated sidewalk. Rolling the cigarette between her fingers, she inched closer to the girl until she was at an armâs length.
âHey--it matters. My bad.â Offering another rare smile, she held out her hand for whatever matches she had, and while she waited she took the moment she had to run her eyes over the girlâs features, considering she was now in better view. âKind of late to be walking around this area alone. Freak population is high these days and they all come out at night. Or so they say,â giving a half-shrug of her shoulder, she wiggled the fingers of her still extended hand.

âHave you ever been to this place before?â
âOh yeah. Iâm a regular.â She perked a brow--a curious glare over her glass but she stared only behind the bar and not directly at him. âTry the Creole Bloody Mary, itâll blow your balls off.â
â âdid you forget about me
Because I never forgot about you.

Some things are better left buried..
When Matt told her Jeremy was the last person he saw leave Mystic Falls, a part of Vicki already knew what she was in for. Jeremy hadnât been severely injured in the cityâs downfall, and that only meant it was a matter of time before they crossed paths. Time and fate were two things she had no control over--but she could stretch time or avoid fate if she tried hard enough. And thatâs exactly what she had been doing for the last few days--avoiding his scent, avoiding places he might be roaming, avoiding him entirely. But tonight, curiosity had gotten the best of her. And the magnetic pull from Jeremy became unavoidable.
She once used him as a focal point to not lose sight on the good things the world could bring--people like him. People who actually gave a shit. And he never hesitated to remind her of the good things that were there within herself that he seemed to uncover with his own hands. He picked and pulled back layers of her she refused to show anyone else, and that was always the reason she ran back to Tyler. Because Tyler didnât care about what was under Vickiâs skin. Didnât care about uncovering and pulling off more than her clothes. Being vulnerable and opening up more than just her legs was something she wasnât used to until Jeremy Gilbert. And she hated it. Summer nights while being tangled together, arm in arm, ankle around ankle, heart against heart, beneath a tree and passing a joint between the two of them----she found love where it wasnât supposed to be. And who knew she would die before ever realizing that. Vickiâs fickle heart used to quiver at his admiration, and even though that feeling made Vicki warm at night, it also made her question their situationship entirely--he was too good for her in every way. What could a girl like her ever offer him other than a xanax and a good time.
Nothing
And that same feeling rushed back as she watched him, and it was the reason why she hesitated to say a word. What good would this do? What if he doesnât even want to see you? What if too much has changed and heâs not even the same? What if that bridge is burned and thereâs nothing left to cross?
Bright eyes scanned down the alley way beneath her, a crouching Vicki watching from a rooftop as the familiar face left the side door of a tall building. She couldnât help the smile that etched across her strong features, making her appear softer as if she wasnât as stone cold as she made herself out to be. He appeared the same, though age was on his face and his shoulders a little broader. He wasnât that little puppy anymore. The one she remembered. Vicki watched him pass beneath her in silence, her mouth opening as if her dead heart wanted to say something, but the words wouldnât come out. A gust of wind blew back her hair, her fingers gripping the stone wall she was perched on as she lifted herself back upright, taking a jump for the ground three stories beneath her. She quietly landed on her feet, moving quickly to a wall to hide behind, sliding back into the darkness to now watch him from behind.
Jeremy... She could only say his name in her head, everything right down to his heartbeat filling her ears. It sounded the same.
She stayed hidden--stayed quiet--until a hissing cat with angry claws made itâs presence known. This brought out a louder hiss from Vicki without thinking, her fangs exposed quickly as the cat scampered and cried in fear from behind the wall and right down the alley in Jeremyâs direction. Realizing she made more noise than anticipated, Vicki slid further back in the shadows with a mumbled, âShit..â
feministicexdemon:
Being alive again was a weird feeling. Then again, being a mortal, turning into a demon, turning back into a mortal - then back to a demon for her to become human again and die. It was all so tiring to think of, and could easily get lost in the problems of the past. âIâm sorry,â The woman said to the person in front of her. âI wasnât listening to a word you said. I think I got started getting bored and just decided to zone out. Do you need something important or should I pretend to listen to you again?â Now whilst it was true she made fantastic improvement on her social attributes whilst being human, it was easier to pretend to be stupid then acknowledge everything that had gone wrong.Â
âWow.. and I thought I was a sorely blunt bitch.â
With her tongue pressed against the inside of her cheek, Vicki eyed the woman intensely before letting her eyes drag to the side of her neck. Snap, crackle, and pop--twisting her neck was the first thought to come to mind. But then, sheâd just have a mess to clean and a very disappointed brother to answer to. This be on your best behavior shit was exhausting. Vicki eyed the cream cheese in her hand. âI was trying this whole stay at home and be domestic thing my brother suggested to kill the time and it seems like you already have your panties knotted so Iâll ask someone else how the hell to make cheese cake.â
This is⌠really going to take some getting used to.
Overhearing the femaleâs voice, Vicki pulled her nose from out of the magazine she had found lying around the coffee shop, her eyes peering to the girlâs face and examining her expression âWell, donât you look like you have the entire world on your shoulders.â She feigned a slight smile and raised a brow curiously at the stranger. âBad day or something?â
