Summary:

It’s the start of your fifth term at UVA, but after Area Zero, it seems Jacq and Tyme have now been demoted as your homeroom tutor. 

“Director Clavell has requested you in his office”

Nemona, Arven, Penny and you now all have to jog upstairs every morning, afternoon and evening to sign in and out of the school for the day. 

“...Sign in on a morning, in and out at lunch and out for the evening…” Clavell offers.

Arven frowns. “So we’re being monitored?”

“No, not really, I just-” Clavell frowns. 

“Dad much?” he asks. 

Nemona snorts. 

Clavell rolls his eyes. “I just want to be directly informed of what’s happening…”

You scoff from your spot on the sofa. “What? So you can tell me not to launch myself at a pack of angry bisharps because they were harassing a sweet little fidough?”

Nemona looks intrigued, and Arven laughs. Penny is trying her hardest not to smirk as Clavell drops his professional air and sighs heavily. 

“Champ, I don't give flying bombardier what you get up to, I just want you all back alive!”

"Well, it would help if you didn't blind me with cheese puffs!" Arven complains as he pushes open the large wooden doors, and Nemona laughs in the back.

"It's eight thirty in the morning, why the hell are you eating cheese puffs?" Penny grumbles, ducking under his arm.

"I wasn't, he just barged into my room while I was half naked, so I tossed the first thing to hand at his head!" You retort, huffing as you drop your rucksack onto one of the desks.

"Don't you know how to knock?" Nemona enquires, laughing.

"Does he even understand what a door is for?" Penny jokes, and Arven flips her hood up in retaliation.

"Shut up, pipsqueak."

The Director sighs heavily from his desk, dropping his pen aside and sitting back in his office chair to reach for his coffee as you all broke his morning peace.

"Can someone please remind me why I decided to have you four homeroom with me from now?" he bemoans playfully.

You snort as you drop into the chair closest to him. "Honestly couldn't tell you, sir, I mean, it's not like you becoming our homeroom tutor is going to stop the chaos"

He looks to you as he nudges his glasses before smirking.

"Well, let's hope the gods spare me for enjoying the chaos you bring into my day, hm?" he chuckles.

"Lighten up, Clive, you love us really" you tease, and Penny agrees.

"He does when we bring him breakfast", Nemona chips in as she places down the paper brown bag of doughnuts, and you all end up smiling as the director's eyes light up.

"This is classified as bribery, you are aware" he mentions as he swipes the bag and pushes from his seat to set them by the coffee maker you had brought him a few weeks ago.

"Don't know what you mean, mate, I mean, there just doughnuts, anyone could have bought them" Arven laughs, eventually sitting down in his spot.

Clavell chuckles fondly as he presses the button for the coffee machine and turns to sit back down while it heats up.

"Then perhaps you won't mind going back to Tyme and Jacq-"

"Too late, we burned the returns receipt." You grin, and he barks out into laughter.

"Ah, well, I guess you'd better catch me up on the school gossip then"

So, I've finished my third COMPLETE run through of base game/teal Mask of Violet on the OLED switch now. Still cried at the credits, because fuck that song by Ed Sheeran just fits the game. (I'm starting Blueberry, but I'm not a Kerian storyline fan)

I've done Scarlet Base/Teal Mask completely through twice, but on my Switch Lite. accounts, SO GUESS WHAT?
