Sidewalk carpets 

France-based artist Arthur-Louis Ignoré paints white patterned carpets on public sidewalks and passageways in cities across the world, including recent installations throughout France and Finland. The works are inspired by both geometric and botanical patterns found in ancient ornamentation from a wide range of cultural contexts.

Yuuta Toyoi:  Japanese Pixel Master

Yuuta Toyoi, (whose work is represented under the 1041uuu title) is a reclusive Japanese artist who is famous in his home country.  He lives in the mountains with three cats and spends his time creating amazingly detailed, delicate, and gorgeous animated scenes, usually with as few as 32 colors.  He is truly a great gif animation artist because in his best work the drawing, palette and motion are in perfect harmony.

I teach art to kids, and also do illustrations and sell original art. A father of one of my students, noticed some of my artwork one day when picking up his kid.

Client: Oh, you paint!

No sh*t, Sherlock. I teach your daughter painting. 

Me: (forcing a smile) Well, that’s why I’m here!

Client: Are any of these for sale?

Me: Yeah, these two here, They’re [X] apiece. 

Client: Hm. I’ll give you [1/10th of X] for both.

Me: Bye!
