Step 1: What are Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) of Canada?
Canada's Provincial Nominee Program provides a route to permanent Canadian residency for individuals interested in immigrating to a specific Canadian province or territory. Each Canadian Province and territory operates its own PNP program designed to its specific economic and geographical needs and invites students, business people skilled workers and semi-skilled workers.

3. The province or territory will investigate whether you will be able to meet their economic or labour market needs and that of Canada.
4. They can inform you how long it will take to process your application.
5. If that province or territory approves your application your next move is to apply for permanent residence within the time period they set out.
6. The province or territory will let you know whether you must apply through the Express Entry system or through the regular application process.

You have to clear two checks to proceed in this process:

· Police Clearance Certificate
Everyone must have these checks, no matter where they plan to live in Canada.

2. If the province or territory agrees to nominate you, you can create an Express Entry profile (or update your profile if you already have one) and show that you are enrolled.
1. You create an Express Entry profile and display the provinces and territories you are interested in.
2. If a province or territory sends you a "Notice of Interest" to your account, you can contact them directly.
3. You apply on their Express Entry stream:
· If you are enrolled, the province will offer it to you through your account, and you accept it electronically.
· You must meet the eligibility requirements of the province or territory.
· You will need to submit an Express Entry profile.
