So, while I was thinking about how I was going to have the Shrikes that make up Khimerrah train Ger, I also thought about how basically EVERYTHING Ger knows so far about the force and how to wield it came from Xerxe using him as a puppet. Sure Ger wasn't all mentally there while he was possessed, but what is something that soldiers develop? MUSCLE. MEMORY. Everything he does that is force related is either pure instinct or muscle memory… FROM XERXE.
So basically, Ger's equivalent of a Jedi Master when he is the Padawan is FUCKING XERXE…. XERXE TRAINED GER IN THE FORCE.
My AU starts 200 years after Descent: Freespace 2; the GTVA had been in a cold civil war with itself since the post-Capella Supernova. Confirmed cases of colonies in poverty being exterminated or experimented on have split the population into two sides: military and civilian. Both sides contain the upper class, the middle class, and the lower class. The military focuses more on watching out for Shivan invaders and furthering military technology. The civilian side, however, just won't let the past go, constantly throwing hate at the military, who, of course, retaliate. Sometimes, though, some things can spiral into riots, assassinations, or almost all-out war. Sure, not all of both sides hate each other; some civilians appreciate the protection the military gives, and some of the military don't fully support the government.
First Panel: Sawyer Jackson Jr. ("Jack")
Jack had been pressured by his father all his life to go into the military. Jack had adamantly refused, leading to his father beginning to resort to physical abuse, often kicking Jack out of the house for days at a time. When Jack befriended the Blackout Squad, his father was furious, leading to an altercation that had the police called. Jack permanently left and filed a restraining order against his father. Later, when a military draft was sent out and the Blackouts were drafted, Jack joined despite not wanting to join the military before, because he wanted to ensure his friends came home alive. This further angered his father, who was still going out of his way to attempt to sabotage Jack's life.
In the panel, you can see in the picture frames behind Jack and his father, where his father was stoic (or glaring at Jack) while Jack was smiling or looking away in shame. In front of the pictures, Jack's father STILL wants him to conform, but Jack is desperately rebelling.
Second Panel: Shepherd Merhart ("Shep")
Shep wasn't as lucky as Jack, though. His father raised him in a strict household, treating him more as a soldier than his only son. He practically dropped Shep into the military training program two years early and closely monitored his progress. He then ordered Shep to be moved into a new experimental area of Spec Ops training. All the while, rumors were cropping up from people quitting the military program that the latest training program was hiding something. After the incident between Jack and his father, an investigation was started, and the training program was blown wide open. The program had been using substances and equipment originally belonging to SevenSet. This Black Ops division had been the one to destroy colonies in poverty used for biological experiments. They had used drugs capable of enhancing physical abilities at the cost of possibly damaging an individual's psyche. Multiple military officials were arrested, including Shep's father, and all were either executed or are still waiting on death row.
However, his father's influence still lingered. Shep didn't know how to interact with people, always seeming to be in "soldier mode." He always hid his emotions and had no apparent empathy.
Third Panel: Tony Lønningdal
Not every military family in my AU is a living hell, though. Tony's family had left Earth in 2317; his great-great-grand-great-grandfather fought for people's equal rights during the societal shift caused by the information leak after the Capella Supernova. As the generations passed, Tony's family became known as a well-respected military family living on Sirius. However, because of his family's reputation and status, they have been the target of various assassinations. Because of this, Tony's parents were thrilled to hear he wanted to pursue being a musician rather than carry on the military legacy.
But then the draft for the newly started Civil war happens, and Tony gets selected. His father tried his best to get Tony out, but the order had been sent; it was all his father could do to keep him safe.
However, Tony's world comes crumbling down after the bombing at the "Flower Festival," an event meant to be a welcome for returning soldiers, where most of his family dies. Then, a few years later, the third Shivan invasion happens, and the rest of Tony's family can't escape the Sirius supernova in time. In an attempt to mask his grief and cope with no longer having a family legacy to uphold, or even a family to go home to, Tony throws himself into his work, self-isolation, and alcohol, problems he still suffers through to this day.
Fourth Panel: Joshua Lassiter
During the new GTVA Civil war, a lot of information was getting deleted, sabotaged and forged. A lot of spies were captured and many were revealed to be working for third parties that were either fighting on smaller fronts, or weren’t even actively in the war itself. One such party was the Crimson Star cult, comprised of humans who, similar to the Vasudan Hammer of Light group, worshiped the Shivan invaders. The Crimson Star believed in “giving up our humanity” to join the Great Destroyers (another name for the Shivans) in their conquest. As soon as a member “graduated”, usually through acts of terrorism, they would undergo extreme cybernetic enhancements, truly relinquishing their human form to become a ruthless war machine.
After the final Shivan incursion, even more information was lost to the supernovas and investigating spies was put on hold in favor of keeping the evacuation fleet intact. It is unknown how many people within the Dragon Fleet are enemy spies.

Brief family history :
Tony's family had left Earth in the year 2317, his Great-great-grand-great-grandfather had fought for people's equal rights during the societal shift caused by the information leak after the Capella Supernova.
As the generations passed, Tony's family became known as a well-respected military family living on Sirius. However, because of his family's reputation and status, they have been the target for various assassinations.
However, his world comes crumbling down after the bombing at the "Flower Festival", an event meant to be a welcome to returning soldiers, where most of his family dies. Then, a few years after, the third Shivan invasion happens, and the rest of Tony's family weren’t' able to escape the Sirius supernova in time. In an attempt to mask his grief and cope with no longer having a family legacy to uphold, Tony throws himself into his work, self-isolation and alcohol, problems he still suffers through to this day.
Xerxe is dead and is in force limbo, so he can interact with the living world and some of the dead world/force afterlife (but not completely on either end)
Ger on the other hand, his soul is split between the living world, part of the force afterlife, and this pocket dimension only Shrikes can enter.
Xerxe's Force contract binds the entire soul, but Xerxe can't reach the part of Ger's soul in the pocket dimension, so the contract doesn't hold.
Xerxe perceives this dimension while Ger is held on Bora Vio, and he tells Suu Tei to experiment on him to try and find a way to fully control Ger, thus all the horrible experiments. None work, and Xerxe resolves to do it the hard way. Ger's spirit and hope breaks when he calls out to Mace Windu when he passes outside orbit and the Jedi runs off, startled by Ger's force signature.
Xerxe takes advantage and slips (more like smashes) into Ger's mind and torments him by tearing his memories apart, he has to do this CONSTANTLY as Ger is is subconsciously trying to fix himself. Caesar's death snaps Xerxe's control, but the damage is done and after Caesar dies, Ger is kind of reduced to a mental state that is less than Smeagle.
The Blackouts then try something and meditate for hours with Ger over the course of months to restore his mind, and Ger is still doing that on his own to hold himself together. The force is literally the only thing keeping him fully sane, so when Matten (bitch) cuts him with a cursed cortosis blade, and Ger's force ability is reduced (not fully cut) Ger becomes more erratic, forgetful, paranoid, fearful and aggressive.
Another fun tidbit of Lore that gives Ger and Xerxe eerie similarities is the fact they have the same line, "I want it to be quiet", but they want quiet in different ways for different reasons.
Xerxe is caught in a limbo, not allowed the serene peace of afterlife and not allowed the relief of true physical shape and form. It drives him mad. So he he strives to tear the force apart, leaving no life and no afterlife, "I understand that when I succeed I will not no longer exist as well… that is okay."
Ger on the other hand is tired of fighting, but upon having the force he sees and feels the full extent of life and wants to preserve it, but he wants the killing and war to end.
Just how far are you willing to go when it comes to them, like, what is the absolute most EVIL thing your most villainous OC you have made from any fandom has ever done?
My most evil OC literally ATE an entire galaxy's worth of people and then some and is currently on a rampage as an evil ghost to destroy the rest of the universe because he wants everything to die so that he can finally die.
Do note though, THE FOLLOWING CONTAINS CHARACTER SPOILERS FOR DARK SUN AS WELL AS SOME DISTURBING TOPICS, PROCEED WITH CAUTION
Also this blog I have reblogged from is my incomplete lore blog for like... ALL my AUs, some things here may not be written into Fanon while some are major spoilers so unless you're okay with spoiling yourself, don't browse the blog or this post!
WARNINGS: Necromancy, Death, Genocide
Keep in mind, some of these might change in the future, but for now, this is my OCs lore.
Edit: oh my god this is long
Edit 2: WHY IS THIS SO LONG?!
1. Otheseus
I'm starting gentle with this guy (and yes, despite the content of this guy's backstory THIS IS A GENTLE START) also, if you want a glimpse of just how insane he went, the fanfic on my AO3 (Dje Haylen Otheseus) is a passage written from Otheseus' point of view.
Otheseus is a king of the Myren Empire, which despite its name, is a peaceful race that abhors war. The Myren race is a naturally force-sensitive feline species that is also extremely intelligent. Their technology advanced rapidly and they have occupied all eleven planets or their star system.
When Otheseus was preparing to become king after his father, he became obsessed with his people's history. Now, Myons love knowledge and hold it in high regard, so Otheseus spending days in the Royal libraries wasn't seen as a concern. When Otheseus became king however, everything changed.
Otheseus insisted that the Myren race was genetically created in a lab, because they were too perfect, too intelligent and too efficient. The royal council saw this as absurd, however, and Otheseus was barely able to conceal his rage when other scholars weren't able to come to the same conclusion as him. So he sought to prove his theory in the worst way possible.
He began to secretly experiment on some of his people and venture out into the farther reaches of the star system. It was through this that he discovered the Dark side of the force (or as it was called by the Myons, "the Aether") Otheseus' experiments started to go down a twisted route following his discovery as the Dark side corrupted his mind and sparked a greed for power he never before possessed. And then by accident, Otheseus brought one of his deceased test subjects back to life.
Now, Otheseus began to dive into studying as much as he could about his own Necromancy ability. His once noble pursuit of knowledge twisted into an obsession of bending life and death to his will. His experiments on reanimation pushed the boundaries of cultural Myren morality, tainting the sacred balance their people had maintained for millennia.
It wasn't long though before the force began to betray Otheseus' dark crimes. On the Myren homeworld of Myra-Prime, the Royal council confronted Othesues about their suspicions and attempted to stop Otheseus' experiments only for the corrupted king to lash out and attack his royal council. None survived and afterwards Otheseus reached out into the force and called the corpses to rise, which they did.
His discovery of necromancy, born from twisted experiments on his own people, birthed an army unlike any the eleven planets had seen. Corpses, reanimated by his will, rose with unnatural vigor, their bodies unyielding unless consumed by fire or shattered by explosions.
For a thousand years, the Myren Empire bled. Otheseus’ necromantic army swept across the star system, from the obsidian peaks of Myra-Prime to the farthest outposts on the eleventh planet. Cities crumbled, their spires of crystal and metal now twisted and shattered, the remaining people fought back, but every lost warrior and civilian was just another monster reanimated by Otheseus' growing power.
His empire became a graveyard, the Myren survivors, who abhorred war more now than ever, learned its bitter cost as their children’s corpses “rotted on [his] battlefields as payment for [their] sheer stubbornness.”
Yet, even as Otheseus’ power grew, so did the resistance. The final battle raged on the black sands of Myra-Prime, where Otheseus had been born, had been raised and had risen to power. His forces, vast and unrelenting, clashed with the Myren resistance in fire and shadow. But the Myren had learned. They targeted Otheseus himself, knowing his death would release his necromantic grip. Sensing his defeat, Otheseus fled. He boarded a sleek, obsidian starship, leaving his kingdom to collapse under the weight of his sins.
However, despite the fact that the thousand year war had been well over five thousands years ago... the Myons do not think he is dead. There were rumors of the Dark King siding with a greater, darker force he stumbled upon in the cosmos. They do not doubt such rumors, after all, the Myren never spin fairytales and legends....
2. Darth Xerxe
Oookay.... this guy needs his own set of warnings to be honest...
WARNINGS: Death, Killing, Cannibalism, (HE'S NOT HUMAN), Mind Control, Big damn Lizard Literally just Darth Godzilla
In life, Xerxe was of a race of a gigantic sentient reptilian species from another galaxy, their average height ranging from 20 feet up to 35. The Chitl’n race was well known for its barbaric and often taboo practices. The barren landscape of the Chil’n's homeworld caused food to be extremely scarce and as a result, the Chitl’ns hunted and ate everything on their planet, including each other. Chitl’ns were known to their galaxy’s version of Jedi and Sith as being “so extremely filled with rage that if one would learn to harness the force then their galaxy would be doomed”. Attempts to wipe out the Chitl’n race resulted in the feared demise coming to pass as the Chitl’ns commandeered their executor’s ships and escaped to the outer galaxy, resulting in a galactic war that gave birth to Chaemotlas.
Chaemotlas was born on the Chitl’n homeworld where he trained himself to survive and later wiped his planet clean of life, hunting and devouring his own species to extinction before boarding a ship and doing the same thing to the rest of his home galaxy. Once his galaxy was devoid of life, Chaemotlas proceeded to hunt for a new galaxy to devour. During his rampage in his home galaxy, he studied the force from his galaxies versions of Jedi and Sith (after… eating them) and adopted a new name he has been known by for over ten thousand years, Xerxe (LITERALLY meaning Genocide in his mother tongue).
After leaving his home galaxy, Xerxe stumbled upon a group of juvenile Shrikes, which, upon sensing Xerxe’s immense Dark side aura, went blind with instinct and attacked him. Xerxe fought back, consuming several of them and gaining a huge boost in his midichlorian count. The remaining Shrikes snapped out of their instinct induced rampage in horror and fled. However, before the elder Shrikes could send a group to eradicate Xerxe, the Shrike Pathogen started to glitch, resulting in the cataclysm that wiped out the Shrikes, leaving Xerxe to continue his rampage unchecked.
After centuries though, Xerxe took notice of how his movements were slower and there was an ache in his bones that no matter how much he fed he couldn’t get rid of and after a few more decades THIS GUY DIES FROM OLD AGE. (that is the biggest slap in the face for ALL the people he has terrorized…)
However upon his death, Xerxe’s spirit, filled to brim with the Dark Side’s raw, corrosive energy, could not merge with the Force as others might. Now trapped in a aggravating limbo, neither alive nor at peace, Xerxe’s rage and wrath built over ten thousand years, perceiving the Force not as a natural order but as a cruel jailer, binding him to an eternity of unquenchable wrath. Eventually Xerxe’s anger crystallized into a singular purpose, to destroy the Force itself. In doing so he would also destroy himself, but he was unbothered by his own spiritual death, seeing it fit that he’d drag the force down with him.
Now a spirit unbound by the restraints of the physical plane, Xerxe scoured Dark Sider temples, ripped long-dead force users from their slumber to pry knowledge from their souls and invade the minds of living force sensitives all to uncover a means to unravel the Force’s fabric. Soon he found he could not accomplish such a feat alone and started seeking a means to build an army, albeit temporarily, to aid his quest.
I haven't gone into much detail about Otheseus' force powers, but here's some Xerxe exclusive nightmare material...
Essence Devouring: This ability is currently exclusive to the dark side Sith entity, Darth Xerxe. Every time he would consume an individual, he would gain a fraction of their force sensitivity and life essence. The Chitl’n’s unique biology, evolved to extract nutrients from scarce resources, allowed Xerxe to metabolize midichlorians as a form of sustenance (Chitl’n lifespan is normally 150 years). Each consumed Force-sensitive individual adds a fraction of their midichlorian count to Xerxe’s own, permanently increasing his Force sensitivity. For example, devouring a Jedi Knight might increase his midichlorian count by 0.1–1%, with cumulative effects over his thousands of force sensitive victims. This process is irreversible, making Xerxe’s power grow exponentially with each kill. Even after Xerxe’s death (which caused some of his power to scattered in force, still able to be summoned by him but not completely), he is able to implement this ability through his possession of Ger Springs from the years 2565 to 2586 (GTVA timescale.) taking advantage of the Shrike’s similar physiology to Chitl’ns (though in the Ancient Shrike order viewed Essence Devouring as an abomination which required execution as a punishment)
Dark Side Contract: This ability is exclusive to Darth Xerxe, discovered millennia after his physical death during his symbiotic possession of the dark Myren king, Otheseus. This ability allows Xerxe to forge a metaphysical pact with a host or victim, binding their life essence and will to his own through the dark side. He is able to prevent death no matter what kind of injury they receive along with a portion of his force abilities at the cost of them still having free thought but being mentally and psychologically tortured to follow Xerxe’s goals. In the event that the host is not willing, rendering the symbiotic possession obsolete, another technique is required. Two individuals already under contracts must be present in order for Xerxe to have the power to force a contract upon his victim, forcibly bending them under his will. So far, only Suu Tei and Otheseus are willingly under Xerxe’s contracts and the only possible but untested way to break the contracts is to kill Xerxe’s spirit, which may cause the contract victim’s souls to be destroyed in an agonizing way.
Well, Ger found out that his squad was secretly part of the terrorist cell they were fighting and that they were planning to kill him because they knew he wouldn't join them.
In the end, Ger ended up having to kill his squad (ex-wife included) in self defense.
Their tactical command didn't know about Ger's squad's betrayal and Ger couldn't report them in because well... they were dead. So he lied to his Command to save his own life and then lived for a while in paranoia that they knew he was lying, (and if they knew, he would be convicted of treason, arrested, and tortured because OF COURSE they wouldn't believe him that he wasn't part of that terrorist cell.)
OHHH goddamn... Maybe this is a good way to do lore drops idk askaksak
Ger's ex wife Sara cheated on him when they were in the military. Sara practically didn't even BOTHER to hide that shit so Ger found out pretty quick and confronted her about it.
Sara got all defensive and pinned on him for becoming closed off towards her after they got deployed but he wasn't buying it. Ger gave her another chance but she blew it again and he divorced her.
So, this basically happens when Michonne puts Alexandria on lockdown, so Sawyer and Reagan go to live in the Kingdom for 7 years. And a little bit about Rea, she sleep walks.
So, it's night, all quiet and all that when Sawyer gets startled awake by someone BANGING ON HIS BEDROOM DOOR. He jumps up, thinking the Kingdom is under attack and runs into his dresser door which wasn't open when he went to bed and it makes his nose bleed. Basically, Reagan sleepwalked all the way to his room and opened his dresser without waking Sawyer up.
Then, Sawyer stumbles over to his door where the banging noise is still coming from. He opens it to find that REAGAN HAS HAMMERED A DICTIONARY TO HIS DOOR. SHE DIDN'T EVEN USE A NAIL, JUST A STRAIGHT UP KNIFE.
Sawyer shakes Reagan awake and when she sees his bloody face and realizes the hammer in her hands she thinks she whacked him in the face with the hammer while sleepwalking.
Even better, no one knows who's hammer it was that she had. No one in the Kingdom recognizes it, it isn't from anyone's toolbox, Reagan didn't know where she found it cause she was fucking asleep. and then two days later IT DISAPPEARS FOR NO REASON.
this used to be a conspiracy story, where a girl finds strange reports of a ghost continent called Arcadia in a pocket dimension on the darkweb. She disappears to look for it and her step sister (along with some unwilling friends and acquaintances) follow the girl to the ghost continent.
On this continent is the town, Irwin. The town is seemingly abandoned despite being in pristine shape and fully stocked up in food and supplies.
Soon the group of teens and young adults find out that Arcadia is crawling with entities, some being native to the continent while others are people who have mutated due to insanity. Soon it is found that even the damn town they were in is an entity.
After surviving for some time, they get captured by a military organization from their dimension that was studying arcadia.
The kids escape back into their world after six months of surviving in Arcadia to find their home infected by whatever created the entities in Arcadia. Not only that, but their six months turns out to be six years back in their home. Now, it's a race against time to save earth.
Way Down We Go Season 1 concept~ Sawyer's hallucinations
WARNINGS FOR:
Drinking, Deteriorating mental state, attempted murder, General TWD "I see dead people" stuff
Sawyer goes to King County on his way to Atlanta, he meets Morgan and Rick there. Morgan stays and Sawyer goes with Rick.
They get to Atlanta and then go with Glenn’s group back to Quarry camp where Sawyer finds only Regan. Janessa was attacked by a walker and was bit.
Season 1 goes as it does with Sawyer sticking by Rick’s side, however when they get to the CDC he starts to hallucinate his friends telling him that his “new friends” will find out what he is and either leave him behind or kill him.
One such hallucination takes place IN the CDC after the group eats and drinks together. Sawyer wanders off and witnesses a hallucination of Shane walking towards him, saying how Rick’s group will find out who he is, and when Shane passes through shadow, he reappears as Sawyer’s self with black button eyes, finishing the previous statement with the fact Rick’s group will throw him out. Sawyer startles, dropping the wine bottle in his hand and as he turns to run he trips and hits hit head on a railing and passes out.
He proceeds to have a dream where he is strangled by himself with black button eyes the way he killed Charlotte Perry.
He wakes up in a panic and runs into Dale, who calms him down and takes him to get his head looked at.
Murder, bad ways of handling grief, killing, DESTROYED mental state, survivors being scary in TWD
Sawyer is enraged by the deaths of Glenn and Abraham, but he keeps a tap on his anger. The first time the Saviors come to Alexandria is his breaking point. He takes Beth, Chloe and Regan to Hilltop before going off on his own. During his self-exile, he stumbles upon a Savior outpost in a school, seemingly under construction.
Sawyer waits until nightfall to make his move, taking out Saviors one after the other with his knife when they were alone, hiding the bodies until he was sure they were all dead. He then killed dozens of walkers, carving “W”s onto their heads and leaving them strewn outside and inside the compound.
He took all the guns, food and medications and stashed them elsewhere before setting the outpost on fire.
He then took spray paint and wrote “Wolves Not Far” on every sign within a mile radius of the school.
It was soon discovered that Sawyer was the one who did it, so instead of being known as the “Marked Man” to the Saviors, he was known as the “Alexandria Wolf”
WARNINGS FOR:
Drug use, torture, killing, people being psychos in TWD
Sawyer, Chloe, Reagan and Oscar get kidnapped by an insane man and his two sons. Their names are Cole Dawson (father), Craig Dawson (elder brother) and Lucius Dawson (younger brother)
Reagan is separated from the other three and is thrown down a well by Craig. Oscar is given a concussion for trying to fight back against Lucius and Sawyer is drugged and tied to a chair.
Chloe is the only one who is thrown into a cell in the Dawson’s basement.
Cole’s philosophy is twisted, and revolves around his obsession with the dead and his belief that Sawyer has had a hand for the fall and is responsible for it due to his red eyes. “You have given us a gift, the deceased are that gift.”
“The deceased can give many things to us, protection, intimidation, camouflage, strength, brutality.”
“They are no something to be feared, they are something to be thankful for…”
Chloe manages to get free and tries to make a run for it while Reagan tries to escape the well with her hands tied. Lucius catches Chloe and a fight ensues. Lucius throws Chloe against a wall and she passes out. Later Chloe wakes up in a cell, this time with her hands chained up. Craig and Lucius both come in and dump a drugged up Sawyer down on the ground of the cell and walk out.
After having a heartfelt talk 🙄 (what’s with making people chit chat in dangerous situations.. Might change this in the future) Sawyer manages to break the old padlock on the chains around Chloe’s arms. Both of them try to escape and maybe find the rest of their group when the Dawson brother’s catch up to them. Sawyer gets recaptured so Chloe could escape.
Sawyer gets tied back down to a chair and Cole contemplates putting Sawyer’s eyes out so he can stop making people miserable. Sawyer struggles to get away only for Craig to hit him across the face and hold his head steady for the procedure.
Suddenly, a gunshot rings out and Cole drops to the ground lifeless. Reagan escaped the well and has retrieved Sawyer’s revolver, she aims and fires again at Lucius, hitting him in the chest. Sawyer trips Craig as he tries to run at Reagan, giving Reagan a chance to reload the chamber and shoot Craig in the head. She then shoots Lucius and stab’s Cole’s lifeless head before it turns.
She frees Sawyer and they go to find Oscar. When they get out they find that Chloe had found the group and led them back to the Dawson property. They regroup and then go to find Noah’s community.
