It wasn’t that ZZ necessarily missed being home--- okay, well. He kind of did. He missed his little section of the desert and how the people in the nearby town started stories of this scary snake beast who killed people that came near. They were kind of true-- He was a vicious snake. But he was stuck in this place, all alone (not that he had friends back home) and lacking his venom. He didn’t know how that was possible, but it was.
The stories of the snake seemed frightening, and yet. Here he was, hanging from a tree upside down near the food area, with some fruit stuck to his claws (toy claws, unfortunately...) He didn’t seem very scary. If only they could see him now. Currently, though his attention was on filling his belly, some people would tend to catch his eyes, thin pupils staring down a rather tall... Alien? Those weren’t real! “... What’s that ya got?” His question was out of the blue, upside down as his tongue flicks out, trying to smell what the stranger was holding.
