I stayed up til 4:30 am because I felt like something wrong, but couldn't figure out what was wrong or out of place. Then wake up a couple 2 hours later to a phone call that my cousin overdosed and died sometime in the early morning this morning. I wish I had of known that he was why I couldn't sleep, maybe I could have called or texted him and maybe he wouldn't have put the needle in his arm. I can't believe you're gone. I love you brother. I'll see you again one day......

Volkswagen Golf Harlequin (Harlekin), 1996. Originally created as a show car in 1995, the Harlekin was produced as a special edition model. this storm season started off so poorly for me but the last week has been one of the best weeks of my life. life is weird like that.

Finding Yourself

I always thought people were crazy when they said they needed to "find themselves". Until the day I lost myself and all hope. I hit my own personal rock bottom or asphalt I should say, I'd had been going through a rough couple of years after my day past and a few failed relationships and I turned to weed to fix it all. I stay high for 3 years straight. If I was awake I was as high as I could get until I passed out. Until the day that I had my accident that I guess I can say was somewhat intentional. I knew the end result could kill me and I just didn't care at that point. I had become so depressed and didn't see a way out, so I took my chances. Needless to say, I'm still here. I had a very close brush with death and it was a major wake up call for me. For the past year now I've been clean and sober and like all of the people I use to think we're crazy, I found myself. My moral of the story would be, if you're depressed and just don't feel like you can carry the weight of the world anymore, talk to someone, anyone that will listen. Because death isn't the answer.
