Miraculous Ladybug has been a secondary fixation as of late (two shows with great potential and iffy execution, go figure). I'd say blog is 85% Danny Phantom, 10% Miraculous, 5% whatever else interests me at the time - usually animated related. it’s kinda funny how Vlad becomes like 99% more evil in the Dani episodes

the contrast between those episodes and the average one is crazy

“Oooo watch out Daniel I’m going to make the weather go crazy to get my votes up” and “I’m going to embarrass your dad publicly ain’t I a stinker!”

Versus

“I’m gonna melt my daughter into nothingness and laugh while doing it”

those are, very different types of evil dawg 😭😭

I wanna see Vlad’s reaction to the fact that what kept Dani stabilized, was not only an invention by Jack Fenton. But a failed invention by Jack Fenton, a thing he made on accident. On complete accident Jack made the very thing that Vlad couldn’t at all figure out how to create in order to keep his clone experiments from being a total failure. I know his ass had to have been mad as hell.

I'm also noticing on this rewatch that Danny absolutely bought his "all ghosts are evil" talk at first. He genuinely thought that he was the only good ghost and only because he wasn't all ghost. And after the incident with Desiree and Tucker Phantom he probably thought it was only a matter of time. And then he met Vlad and that wasn't exactly reassuring.

The first non-evil ghost he meets is the Dairy King (shortly after discovering that Vlad is an evil halfa), and Danny immediately assumes that ghost is going to hurt him too until the Dairy king says "not all ghosts are evil" and Danny smiles and looks relieved. Then when he realizes what's up with Cujo, Danny says the same thing, "not all ghosts are evil," like it's an affirmation.
