—    BASICS.

▸IS YOUR MUSE TALL/SHORT/AVERAGE? Tall; 6′2″.

▸ARE THEY OKAY WITH THEIR HEIGHT? He honestly could care less about his height so yes, he’s okay with it.

▸WHAT’S THEIR HAIR LIKE? ... Non-existent.

▸DO THEY SPEND A LOT OF TIME ON THEIR HAIR AND GROOMING? While he spends no time whatsoever on his hair (see above), he does take care of his physical appearance.

▸DOES YOUR MUSE CARE ABOUT THEIR APPEARANCE/WHAT OTHERS THINK? Not really. Looking like a humanoid dragon tends to do that to people.

—    PREFERENCES.

▸INDOORS OR OUTDOORS? Truthfully? Indoors.

▸RAIN OR SUNSHINE? He thinks rain is enjoyable- as long as he’s indoors, that is.

▸FOREST OR BEACH? Obviously the forest.

▸PRECIOUS METALS OR GEMS? He really doesn’t care about either.

▸FLOWERS OR PERFUMES? Same as above.

▸PERSONALITY OR APPEARANCE? Both are equally important since one cannot be attractive if their personality is lacking- and vice versa.

▸BEING ALONE OR BEING IN A CROWD? Being alone, he’s no good with socializing and niceties.

▸ORDER OR ANARCHY? While order is obviously what he strives for, he knows that there can’t be any order without some anarchy.

▸PAINFUL TRUTHS OR WHITE LIES? He’s likely to say painful truths- but it’s not like he’s never lied before, so both probably; depending on the person.

▸SCIENCE OR MAGIC? In a world where even the origin of their quirks can’t be scientifically explained, he’s inclined to say magic but even magic tricks have an explanation.

▸PEACE OR CONFLICT? Peace, clearly- albeit, yet again, that there cannot be peace without any conflict.

▸NIGHT OR DAY? Night, he’s never been a day person.

▸DUSK OR DAWN? Both are equally beautiful but he has no set preference.

▸WARMTH OR COLD? Being cold-blooded does tend to make the cold unbearable (he becomes sluggish during such weather), so definitely warmth.

▸MANY ACQUAINTANCES OR A FEW CLOSE FRIENDS? A very few close friends.

▸READING OR PLAYING A GAME? Neither, though if he has to choose; likely reading.

—    QUESTIONNAIRE.

▸WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR MUSE’S BAD HABITS? ... Way too many to even bother listing here. Though perhaps one couldn’t hurt; he tends to take things solo- even those that clearly need others to help him.

▸HAS YOUR MUSE LOST ANYONE CLOSE TO THEM? HOW HAS IT AFFECTED THEM? Yes, it probably affected him way too much- he’s likely never to recover from it.

▸WHAT ARE SOME FOND MEMORIES YOUR MUSE HAS? The time he had with his mother (foster, since he never knew his birth mother).

▸IS IT EASY FOR YOUR MUSE TO KILL? Unfortunately, very much so. He’s distanced himself so much that even killing someone doesn’t affect him anymore.

▸WHAT’S IT LIKE WHEN YOUR MUSE BREAKS DOWN? Since he hasn’t broken down yet, that’s something that can’t be shared. Though some could argue that Ryuu is a constant state of ‘breaking down’.

▸ IS YOUR MUSE CAPABLE OF TRUSTING SOMEONE WITH THEIR LIFE? Unlikely, the people he trusted tended to either abandon him or die- so probably not.

▸WHAT’S YOUR MUSE LIKE WHEN THEY’RE IN LOVE? Unknown, he hasn’t been in love with anyone yet and has no intent to do so.

Upon hearing his name their eyes flickered up to their form in surprise. Their names were so similar, what were the odds? Moth all out scrambled for something to say after hearing how nervous the other man sounded.

“Ryuu…what a coincidence that I would meet another dragon here. Perhaps I should have gone by Ryuji instead?”

Internally, Moth lamented that pun. Ryuji? Really?  They hoped the man across from them didn’t up and leave for that. They felt their face heat up in embarrassment when they couldn’t come up with anything to save their dignity. 

Instead, they offered a small apologetic smile, absently tugging on a lock of their hair, hoping and praying that they didn’t just ruin their first impression.

He closed his eyes for a moment, the pun was so atrocious that it was kind of cute, actually. Opening them again, he shoots Ryumi a small smile, reassuring them that it didn’t make anything worse- if anything, it probably calmed him down a bit.

“ As terrible as that pun was, it did help with my nerves a little. ” Though he was still twirling his fingers around each other and couldn’t quite look Ryumi in the eyes. Well, he always thought that eye contact was awkward regardless of the person- but it was also considered impolite not to look into someone’s eyes when speaking to them... Right?

Ah, to hell with it.

“ ... I apologize in advance, I’m not particularly skilled in the art of making small talk. ”

After Ko placed the bottle of wine on the table, Moth offered a quite thanks before turning back to the man across from them. They could make out the elegant curve of horns and broad shoulders in the low light. Moth shifted, feeling their antenna curl and uncurl with nerves. Tucking a strand of hair behind one of their ears, they cleared their throat before speaking in a soft voice;

“Good evening, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. My name is Ryumi, what may I call you?”

There were quite a lot of questions running through Ryuu’s head at the moment; the most prominent one, however, was him questioning why he accepted a friend’s offer to sign him up for this... event, whatever it was.

Okay- no problem, you’re fine. Probably not, Ryuu was awkward as it was and socializing wasn’t something he dabbled, professionally, in.

It’ll be fine. Or maybe it won’t. Regardless, the only thing that Ryuu could do right now was accept this strange new fate of this and go with the flow.

He gave his companion a smile, albeit obviously nervous and uncertain- it seemed like the two of them were equally nervous, Ryuu wasn’t certain if he should be relieved about this or not.

“ G- Good evening, the pleasure is all mine. ” Ryuu paused then, twiddling his fingers together under the table. “ I... I commonly go by Ryuu. ”

“Sir...” Kanna called out with a soft voice. “The library... Do you know where the library is?” (@bcmblebee)

“ The library? ” Ryuu seemed a little taken aback, surprised even that someone approached him to ask him about that- surely there were better people to ask, right? Well, he didn’t mind, really.

“ Just keep walking straight from here then take the first left- would you like me to accompany you there? ”

AKEMI

Ah - Akemi, was it? Greenish yellow eyes curiously peek towards her form, orbs blinking ever so slowly as if mulling the question over in thought.

Vlad King? Ryuu didn’t recall seeing much of the other teacher today - he assumed he’d be with his class but if one of 1-Bs own pupils came looking for him, then it likely meant the teacher was off doing something else.

“ No need for apologies, Akemi- I am, however, afraid I have to admit I do not know where Vlad King is. Was there something you needed him for? ”

MCSPEED / GREGORY

❝ RYUU! ❞ Impossible to escape his voice, or hug, Gregory raced to the #21 Pro Hero and teacher as if they were friends. Personally, Greg considers everyone a friend, especially among UA staff. Seriously, why are they still giving him a visitor’s pass? 

❝ How are you, my friend? Been working out? ❞

Yikes. Was that Gregory’s voice? Oh no- Ryuu’s eyes scanned his surroundings quickly in an attempt to find out where the other pro hero was coming from. Unfortunately, Gregory was fast and there was absolutely nothing Ryuu could do to prevent his untimely demise by hug.

Ryuu’s breath was forced out of his lungs as Gregory’s body almost slammed into his and arms wrapped around his torso in a hug - one of the few people taller than him and of course he was overly friendly.

Oof.

Trying to, as politely as possibly, pry McSpeed’s arms from around him was proving to be both hard and futile so Ryuu gave up and just let the man hang there for as long as he wanted to.

“ ...I’m alright, thank you. ” A pause, before Ryuu gave Gregory a small smile, his tail curling around his left leg- hugs were, apparently, not quite as bad as he first expected them to be. Well, for someone who only had unwanted and hostile physical contact thrown his way, he was never too sure whether someone running towards him planned on hurting him or was just overly excited.

“ I... I have not had the opportunity to ‘ work out ’ this week, I am hoping next week will be less busy, though I doubt it... How about yourself? You seem to be in high spirits today. ” Then again, every time Ryuu saw Gregory the man seemed to be plenty happy - though, there was probably something hidden underneath that façade, wasn’t there? Well, it wasn’t particularly his business, so he chose to ignore it, for now.
