Ta teden sem končno dobil kolo s servisa. Vse je zeleno in dišeče in če v bližini slučajno ni nobenega motoriziranega divjaka, tudi precej idilično. Tako se je danes videlo proti Rušam.

Moj Raspberry Pi 3 setup - Deluge & Resilio Sync Server

V teh dneh sem zaradi nekaterih težav, ki sem jih imel s sistemom na čisto postavil svoj Raspberry Pi 3. Tukaj bom zapisal svoj postopek, da naslednjič ne bom taval v temi kot tokrat, ko sem bil na novo izumljati toplo vodo. Vsekakor sem z rezultatom zdaj nadvse zadovoljen. Ta majhna škatlica mi omogoča deljenje 1TB velikega diska v domačem omrežju in 24/7 delovanje Deluge torrent aplikacije in neke vrste domačega Dropboxa. Vse to zelo energetsko varčno in zanesljivo. Če se tudi vi spopadate s podobnimi problemi, ali razmišljate o postavitvi podobnega sistema, vas vabim da se mi oglasite v komentarjih, da izmenjava izkušnje. V nadaljevanju branja je skupek navodil, ki sem jih uporabil pri postavitvi.

Čista instalacija Rasberiana = reboot + klikaj na Shift

Ko končaš z instalacijo: Raspberry Pi Configuration: Network on boot = wait for network (ON), SSH, VNC = enable, nastavi lokalization v istem oknu.

Vnesi Wi-Fi geslo.

Spremeni privzeta gesla uporabnika “pi” - passwd in “root” sudo passwd root. Sledi navodilom v terminalu.

Priklopi ext4 formatiran, napajan zunanji disk. Jaz uporabljam WD My Cloud Media 1TB, sem ga predhodno formatiral v Windows 10 s pomočjo MiniTool Partition Wizard Free. Pomembno je, da je disk formatiran kot ext4, ker v nasprotnem bodo težave pri dodeljevanju pravic map in datotek. Ko disk priklopite bodite prijavljeni kot uporabnik “pi”. Ko bo sistem vprašal ali želite, da se disk zmontira v raziskovalca, to potrdite in si zapomnite mapo, ki bo ob tem nastala. Po privzetem bo to nekje v /media/pi. Glede na ime, ki ste ga določili disku, bo v tem imeniku nastala tudi mapa z istim imenom, v mojem primeru: /media/pi/USBHDD. Pomembno v tej točki je, da tej mapi dodelite vse pravice dostopanja in urejanja. Da bi spremenili te pravice, desno kliknite na mapo USBHDD in izberite:  Properties, nato Permissions in dodelite vse pravice Anyone. Preverite, če vam je nove spremembe shranilo! Če bodo težave dodeli kastništvo v “root”.

Set a samba password for pi sudo smbpasswd -a pi Restart the samba server¨ sudo service samba restart Now try to access the samba share, if all is well, repeat the process by editing smb.conf again and adding additional shares.NB: You may need to restart your device as well as any Mac or Windows machines you want to access the samba shares.

Setting up Deluge on Raspberry Pi: (https://tektab.com/2015/11/10/running-a-always-on-torrent-box-with-raspberry-pi-deluge-on-raspbian/) Once you have a storage attached with your Raspberry Pi, you are ready to install the Deluge Torrent Client on your Raspberry Pi box.Login to the Raspberry Pi terminal 1.A. Update and upgrade (on Raspberry Pi):: Update your Raspbian Raspberry Pi Box to the latest distribution using the following command in the console: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade -y 1.B. Install Deluge (on Raspberry Pi):: Next you we shall download the Deluge daemon and necessary component for thin client setup with the following command in the console: sudo apt-get install deluged -y sudo apt-get install deluge-console -y 1.C. Setup credential for remote connection (on Raspberry Pi): From this point on wards we shall do all the configuration changes as Raspbian system user user “pi” on the Raspberry Pi console. Eventually when we shall add this user as a daemon we shall run it as the user “pi”. To check run id -nu The out put should be the following, before you proceed on for the next configuration. pi Now lets run the deluged demon once and kill it again. By doing so it will create the initial configuration files e.g. “~/.config/deluge/auth”. Run the following command in the console: deluged sudo pkill deluged Now that the default configuration files are created you may edit them and add authentication information. This authentication information will be used for remote login from windows/mac to the Deluge daemon. Next we shall make a backup of the default configuration file and add an authentication line for remote login to the same. cp ~/.config/deluge/auth ~/.config/deluge/auth.old nano ~/.config/deluge/auth Once the file is open in “nano” text editor, add the following line to the existing configuration as a new line. The format shall be User-name-for-remote-login:Password-for-remote-login:Access-levelExample:pi:Set-your-Own-Password:10 Once the changes are made as described above, save the nano file by pressing “Ctrl-x”  and “y” when prompted for confirmation of saving the file and followed by an “Enter” key. Next we shall start the Deluged daemon and run the Deluge console to make some additional configuration changes deluged deluge-console If starting the console gives you an error code instead of nice cleanly formatted console interface type “exit” and then make sure you’ve started up the daemon.Once you are logged in to the console, we shall make some configuration change to allow remote client connection, by entering the following command on deluge-console config -s allow_remote True config allow_remote exit The deluge terminal output shall confirm you that the configuration changes are saved. Now we shall need to restart deluged command one more time to let the configuration changes to take effect. sudo pkill deluged deluged Deluge daemon will start again and ready for remote access.

Resilio Sync Server (https://www.resilio.com/blog/sync-wd-raspberry-pi) Step 1: Download the Sync packageCurrently, the package is available at this url:https://download-cdn.getsync.com/2.0.128/PiWD/bittorrent-sync-pi-server_2.0.128_armhf.deb So either download the package with a browser, or use the command: wget https://download-cdn.getsync.com/2.0.128/PiWD/bittorrent-sync-pi-server_2.0.128_armhf.deb Step 2: Add the Sync packageYou can add the package with this simple command: sudo dpkg -i bittorrent-sync-pi-server_2.0.128_armhf.deb This will automatically start BitTorrent Sync as a service called “btsync”. This service is set to automatically start after the Raspberry Pi boots up. Step 3: Access the Sync Web GUI After step 2, Sync is now up and running on your Raspberry Pi. You can access the web GUI by opening a browser (on the Raspberry Pi, or on another computer on the same network) and typing in: [YOUR IP ADDRESS]:8888/gui For example: 192.168.0.102:8888/gui. You can find the IP address for your Raspberry Pi by opening a terminal and typing in: ifconfig. That’s it! Sync is up and running. Here are a few simple commands you can use in the terminal: Check status: service btsync status Stop service: service btsync stop Start service: service btsync start

S psom sva šla do Šanijeve klopce na Mariborskem Pohorju. Barve so bile tako čudovite, da te je kar ogrelo. In to listje, ki naredi cesto navidezno bolj ozko, da človek za trenutek pozabi na ves motoriziran promet, ki v bolj toplih mesecih nažalost poteka tu zgoraj.

Nekaj fotk z jesenskih kolesarskih voženj po Pohorju. Vreme je bilo čudovito v teh dneh in barve so zgodba zase. Če se pametno oblečem, ob spustu niti ni tako hladno.

… se prebudim na vse zgodaj, takoj vzamem fotkič in letim na vrt kjer iščem zanimive motive. Zadovoljujem to neko ustvarjalno geeky željo/potrebo. Potem s temi trenutki poletim v naslonjač, vzamem Lightroom in čaram nekaj zanimivega, prebavljivega, ustvarjalnega. Vsaj tak si želim verjeti. Zgodbe so potem spet druga stvar. Brez njih je vse skupaj brezveze, kot ta pozabljen jesenski list zgoraj.
