dracojulian:
He should’ve stayed in the apartment. Julian realized his mistake now, but he was much too restless to realize how risky it would be. He skulked outside and stopped in his tracks when his brother called his name, questioning his current state of being. He sighed and turned around to face Thomas. “I never really died,” he said. “But you already figured that out. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have come after me. So what now? You’ll run back to Father and let him know that I disgraced him all this time? Maybe then, he’ll actually get the job done.”
He hated to think both of his siblings thought that he was under their father’s thumb, that just because he was alive and around their father longer than them meant that he always listened to their father. “Right, and you thought if I knew I’ll tell father?” He questioned, already knowing the answer which was confirmed as soon as Julian spoke again. “The thought of you faking your death didn’t occur to me, until now since I honestly believed you to be dead for the last hundred years. Why would I run back to the man I haven seen since your death? I did something terrible since I learned of your death, that caused me to run as far as I could to get away from father and the destruction. Besides, if he was going to kill anyone it would be me because he either found out that his eldest fell for a human or because I wouldn’t let him get anywhere near you or Demi.” He rambled, which wasn’t all that unusual especially when his nerves got the best of him or if he was trying to lay all his cards on the table before someone stopped him.
