There hasn't been a dragonbornproblem for four months. Is this blog likely to get any better?
don't think so. We were planning to start up again when the update made a bunch more problems but submissions have pretty much stopped.

Well, I still think it is Dragonbornproblems, since, well, people are coming to you guys asking about their 'technical' problems, so, uh, yeah! But I really do miss all the real problems, if I had an account, I would post seven hundred and fifty two of them. Sadly I cannot. Anyway, I have this one question: After what quests does Ysolda really become nonessential? I'm sure I completed all her quests, but she never dies. Or is she completely essential? Thanks, yeah, and I know, lengthy ask.
I became a werewolf and ate her.
She can be killed.
I don't know what quests I had done though and she was my wife at the time.
Hi, I want to follow you guys but I don't want all the asks about technical problems spamming my dash, so would it be possible you make a separate blog for the technical issues?
we actually said many times we weren't going to answer those, I don't know when we started to. There was a separate blog we were redirecting to at one point.
Honestly though we haven't posted a problem in months I don't even know if we're still really running the blog.
Zu'u anonymous. Aal Zu ask how to roleplay skyrim with a fork ?
...what?
skyrim keeps on freezing when running or on horseback. also once i had to disconnect my xbox from the power mains the freeze was so bad. please help i love this game and i was even going to get dawnguard.
Save more often. The game has to load more when you're moving quickly and by saving more often you're giving it less to "focus" on, thus making the game run better.
can you please help..I appear to have picked up the book black and white soul before it became a quest. Now I am stuck with the book in my inventory and the miscellenous mission wont disappear. I have tried redoing the quest twice and am led to the item the chest still marked with the arrow fresh supplies await me but not the book because it is already in my inventory and I cannot get it out.help.
As always with Skyrim: Revert to an earlier save... and if that's not an option then there really isn't anything we can help you with unless you want to google how to hex-edit your game and attempt to hack the mission into working order (which is highly unrecommended).
Sounds like you guys could use some additional mods.
Sounds like the current mods need to talk and get their poop together. Lol. I'll reach out and find out what's going on with the other two!

Are you guys taking a break from posting problems? If you are, I can understand why. You must get a crapload of submissions.
To be honest, I'm not sure what happened to submissions. I know that I personally (Coby) have been crazy busy with a full time job that demands a lot of overtime, but I'm not sure what's up with the other two Mod's. I know that Jesse was busy with graduating college and moving and finding a real job, and he's still in the process of doing so, but beyond that I couldn't say.
But we do have over 50 messages that need to be sorted through and created into Problems.
Imperial or Stormcloak?
STORMCLOAK! .... until I realized that they were just a bunch of Nazis, and then I played a new game as Imperial and felt ok.
Either way, kill ALL the Thalmor!
Haha, that innuendo... I see what you did there.
When it comes to soul gems: Size matters. (The same holds true for sex, but we just tell you otherwise so you don't feel so bad).
:-D
If you have all 3 words to a shout, does that mean it is fully maxed out out or can you upgrade it further? Im asking because i have all 3 words to unrelenting force and it doesnt seem that powerful. Ive killed quite a few dragons and have about 10 souls but i dont know if there is anything i can do.
You need to make sure you are using the dragon souls to unlock the words of shouts as you pick them up. This took me 2 weeks to figure out (and I was unemployed when this game came out so it was all I was doing). When you go into the shouts screen, you should see it asking you to unlock a shout by pressing a certain button. This will use a dragon soul, and also give you one more word during that shout. After all 3 words are gathered, there is no more way to power them up.
Sexual innuendo, on that last ask xD
.... o.O
To that guy asking about enchanting; It also depends on how big of a soul gem you use.
I am trying to disenchant and item that has a fire damage of 40 points but im not able to because it says i have already learnt that enchantment, but the enchantment i learned was fire damage of 8 points. is there any way i can the more powerful fire enchantment?
Short answer: No.
Long Answer: The Fire Enchantment (regardless of strength) is one enchantment. You cannot disenchant an item without destroying it, so you'd have to find a duplicate of whatever you want (or craft another). Then you basically need to max out your enchantment tree, because the strength of the enchantment depends on your skills in that tree. If you have a low enchantment skill, you can only enchant weapons with low effects. Thankfully, there is a short-cut to maxing out your blacksmithing/enchantment trees and gaining a few levels in the process. You can find the guides online.
For the Boethiah quest, which follower do you think it makes the most sense, roleplay wise, to sacrifice?
Well that depends on a multitude of factors. Are you playing the reluctant hero? Are you playing the Saving Grace/Called to Action hero? Or are you playing someone who's evil, but was given this great gift? Is this person someone who treasures human life and tries not to kill if possible, or are you playing someone who would slaughter his own mother for a chance at power? Personally, anyone you can hire is a safe-bet, or anyone you have to punch once. That never made sense to me. "You've beaten me in a fist fight, I'll totally follow you around since you humbled me!"
It would be okay with me if you actually needed to use magic constantly while doing the College of Winterhold quests. As in actual weapons wouldn't do anything to any enemies in these specific quests.
I would love some dungeons for magic-specific characters, but then it would also have to be the other way around. There would have to be dungeons where magic based characters couldn't damage anything. I'm old school D&D (second edition, yo!) so I prefer to see my Mage's not fighting with swords and war hammers. I like my Mage's to have staves or wands or RUN MUTHER FUCKER CAUSE YOU ONLY GOT MAGIC AND THAT'S A GOD DAMN DRAGON!
I completely agree with that thieve's guild statement. But even worse as far as failing to meet their potential would be the Companions. I hardly get to know the characters there because half of them just spew out small-talk, and it took like three quests to become their leader. Wouldn't it have been awesome if they designed companion quests so that you had to become a werewolf?
As far as I'm aware, you HAVE to become a werewolf to become the Harbinger, but you then have the ability to kill your beast-spirit. I think all of the guilds could really use some work, especially the College of Winterhold, It's really disappointing to me to have to join the College to continue one of the quests in the game. I had a character who was not magically inclined and by the time I joined, I was unable to keep a Ward spell on long enough to block the instructors fireball because I had not invested any points in Mana.
