His mood had been soured significantly, his voice irate and assuming. This was why he often avoided larger get togethers. Crowds were still hard for him to deal with. He didn’t have the patience for it. There was too much going on and he didn’t even know where to diver his attention to catch even small snippets of it.

Victoire only saw Hugo after she stumbled over him, hearing his voice as she fell to the ground. She couldn’t even remember how she’d gotten so PLASTERED but there she was, the world half dizzying, half brilliant as she sat next to her cousin, “I was actually going to probably do something much more cool like throw up in that corner but, I’ll SPARE you the visual trauma.”
