📰| A friend told me to give more of an explanation #morelife to my art pieces so, for now on I will. If I post something that doesn't have much of an explanation please let me know 👋. In haven't been "artistically" or "physically" around because I'm pressed for time and I work. I only have time to create art from 10pm - 12am 4 days of the week (it's literally the only time I have). Apart from that if I can't make it to an event or meeting it's only because I'm soo exhausted that I can't think or I need sleep. 😴😴 With all this going on I wanted to change the style of my art, and create a different theme of artwork that I know people experience on a daily basis. "Bout this Life" 1. I was think of creating this theme months ago 2. It was influenced by my life and the life of my friends 3. It's a reality in toronto I'm not sure where your from, or if you are experiencing the same thing. My generation is feeling the financial pressure of life, especially in Toronto. In Toronto the average cost of a house 🏡 is $778 746, a lot of graduates 🎓 still live with their parents and their are more part-time jobs than full-time jobs (Toronto is still a great city to live in, don't get it twisted). Lest we forget that my generation still has to pay off student loans and bills with these part-time jobs. Everyone I know has a minimum yes a minimum of 2 jobs 2 hustles. So "Bout that life" is about that person who has two jobs, two hustles and 3 worlds (2 jobs and 1 personal life), just to pay their bills 💵 and have a decent I mean decent life. Even the TTC 🚌 is raising their fares 😐 and their service is garbage, I don't care what people tell you. This piece is called Night Hustle, from Bout that life art collection.
