there's genuinely something wrong with parents who derive pleasure from forcing their kids to do something against their will.
Example: my mom is making me kill a chicken. She could have bought already dead chicken in the store. She could have asked my sister who's done it many times and doesn't mind it. But no. They both find it endlessly hilarious that I don't want to
If it was an immediate thing, I'd probably do it. I don't mind assisting someone else either, but I'm deeply uncomfortable with sawing back and forth at its neck and holding it down with my bare hands until it's dead.
Right now I'm sobbing in the kitchen, nauseous with both me and the chicken having a panic attack and I know I'm gonna get yelled at and get in so much trouble for not killing it while they're gone but I just can't bring myself to do it
Anyone with chicken killing advice lmk
