A Helpful(?) Guide to Creating Citycore Road/Sidewalk/Street Designs in ACNH (pt. 2)

Sidewalks? There’s two ways you can go about making them.

There’s the simple, single tile sidewalk like this:

(Rougher version):

(This one below is only the right side of the sidewalk.)

Again, here are some ways you can add details to your sidewalk (split into four, not meant to be done alltogether like this):

1. Cute shapes likes hearts

2. Realistic, rough gravel

3. Speckled

4. Plain and simple

(Btw, that heart stamp can be used in any way anywhere on your road, for those of you who want a cuter look to your streets.)

And then, there’s the more complicated sidewalk that connects with your road and curves around, like the one I have in my island:

This is complicated and takes a lot of time to do, though, so I recommend just doing the simple, tile sidewalk instead.

Notice those road cracks? I’m going to show you how I made them.

So, literally just copy your existing road design into another slot, and draw some weird shape on top of it like that^

Then, add some color gradiation (usually takes about 3 different shades of the same color.)

And there’s your road crack. You can also make something like this:

Same thing, but longer.

Firstly, color palate is important, depending on what vibe/theme you want. Color gradiation is another very important thing. You might want to use the color changer a lot to balance the colors you want.

Here is the basic beginnings of the right side of a road.

If you like it neat and simple like this, that’s okay, but if you want it more rough and realistic, try this:

See the little dent that makes? Now make as much of those as you want until it looks something like this:

Want more road texture? Try these:

Crosswalk? Again, you can have a neat version, or the more realistic rougher versions:

Hey guys, now that I’m in section 8 housing my bills are extremely low and a women’s shelter stocked me up with diapers, wipes and clothes for both of my kids. If you want, you can still donate. I do still need help with getting new tires for my car, it’s not a huge priority, but I would appreciate the help. The closest food pantry is actually 33 miles away, but a lady does bring me a box of food but it’s every two weeks. So when I’m low, I have to resort to getting dollar store food or take out. I’ve gone to a grand total of 8 job interviews in my small god-awful town, and they’ve all collectively said, and of course, in their own words that I cannot work at their establishment if I can’t work more than 3 hours without breastfeeding because they have male employees and they would be distracted. Which is completely and utterly ridiculous, and absolutely disgusting. Which is why I need all the help I can get until my daughter turns a year old then I can get a real job.
