Ok I really need Jack to return now as I'm starting to get delusional that England are going to do well and play entertaining football at the World Cup when in reality it's like supporting a servebot. Other teams turn up and count a 0-0 draw as a win against us and hope to get to penalties if it's in a knockout stage. Just like players who plan to hold serve and hope they get a lucky point in a tiebreak against Opelka.

I forgot about that Opelka match because I turned it off after that first set because how unwatchable it was (and I knew he was losing that so just went to sleep to save myself the disappointment)
I also would prefer him playing badly but being on tour rather than this year long drought even if he's on a match losing streak. At least then we know he's okay and don't have to live with the fear of him coming back and getting injured again after being out for so long (aren't the men starting to practice at Queens next week when the girls are playing?). Hoping he's back fully for the second half of the year ā¤ļø
Did save quite a lot of money from not paying 16.99⬠monthly for TennisTV since I can watch a lot matches from an another TV service that's in my country (I can live without the option to choose which match to watch without Jack playing and I enjoy the WTA a lot more (don't really have a distinctive favourite there so it's more fun) that the ATP
Iām so glad youād managed to forget about the Opelka match, and Iām sorry for reminding you of it š
The guys will be hitting at Queens next week, probs Weds onwards once the draw has thinned a little and less women need the practice courts too. Weāll be guaranteed pics of him and Andy there as the practice courts are very overlooked and the Brits love nothing more than being nosey!!
Iām with you on the money saving aspect too, and time as well! Iām going to have to actively make time and prioritise Wimbledon because theyāll be throwing wild cards out to Brits and making the first few days jam packed.
I was watching Arthur Fery at Birmingham this afternoon and he was looking excellent. Henry Searle is on a good run in the US right now too. JPJ was disappointing earlier in the week but it wouldnāt surprise me if he got a Queens wildcard along with Arthur.
A bit crazy that it's been nearly a year since he was consistently playing on the tour. Need to watch some highlights to remind myself of those times when he used to torture us with those deuce jails :( But not the Cilic loss because even some form of mention regarding that match still traumatises me and that really was the breaking point for everything
That Cilic match really was a frustrating watch. Question is would you rather have more matches like that (and Opelka), or a year in the Draperball Drought Trenches?
I think I'd still take him playing badly, although in hindsight we know he was injured and likely very mentally distracted by the pain in his arm, but at least then I'd feel like it was something he could improve and work on WHILST still on tour.
All we want now is a successful return and a full second half of the season injury free!!

thank you for sending, love the little personal details <333
Just got back. Matteo š
What happened?!?
Remember when he had hair š„¹
He looked so good!
We will return to it in time. Just like his tennis. Heās worth the wait!
Flavioās rise since losing to JPJ in Dallas is insanely impressive. He was on such a losing streak. I need to know what changed!
Thanks for brightening up my rainy day, Vuori.
I'm not sure if that info that James Gray has is correct or not but it would line up more with what Jack was going to do. I was surprised he was on the entry list for Stuttgart. I couldn't see him playing qualifiers as his first tournament back.
Yeah it is seeming like more of an admin error than anything else. Just rubbish to have contradicting info and nothing from the horses mouth.
Whatever happens Jack back playing tennis is just around the corner!!
I hope one day we get to see his army of little fans all wearing their Vuori hats and cheering him on in a tournament š¤ no kid meets Jack Draper without getting a white Vuori hat š
And the fact he always makes sure to interact with them on social media too is the sweetest things I've ever seen!

Jack Draper's first tournament with Andy Murray confirmed
Following the announcement, tennis fans were eager to learn when we would first see Draper and Murray working together, and we now know it will be at the 2026 BOSS Open in Stuttgart.

Getting mixed messages over hereā¦
I saw a post by James Gray on X saying that it isnāt true that Jack is going to play in Stuttgart and he is still aiming at Queens for his first tournament back. I donāt know what and who to believe anymoreā¦
Oh how weird. Why would his name be on the list if heās not ready?
James seems adamant that his source is correct and he wonāt be playing. Unless they didnāt expect RG to go the way it has and thought they wouldnāt get enough withdrawals for him to get in?
I think it would be a good move to go over there and get some extra matches in.
Surely Mensik, Cobolli and the rat are withdrawing from Stuttgart at this point?
That leaves one more needed to get Jack out of quallies!
every day i ask myself why jack even came back for davis cup and didnāt enact his protected ranking
This.
But also he's had this kinda (slightly less extreme) drop before, and he's bounced back well. So I have faith all will be well.
Plus a few easier match-ups will be good for confidence, game play and a less intense return.
jack being waitlisted to get into the stuttgart main draw....... i need 4 people to pull out immediately
Every single time I see heās posted my brain is like OH MY GOD WHAT NOW WHATāS HAPPENED WHAT IS WRONG ššš and then itās a picture of his shoes
This is why we need him back on tour, so he can actually post about tournaments and matches and not be giving us heart attacks about injuries š
