Nico di Angelo's love languages are acts of service and quality time. you cannot disagree with me on this. that boy would move mountains to help someone he loves or cares about (this is literally so obvious). he could sit there in silence with the person he loves and appreciate it either way because to him, just being able to be around them after many many years of loneliness and being secluded it's what truly matters

PJO fandom, please tell me! Have y'all stopped to think Will probably had a crush on Nico since the battle of Manhattan or is it just me? When they started bickering at the end of BOO, Will had a speech ready to convince Nico to stay at camp. How long had he been thinking about it? Rehearsing it for the time he finally had the chance to speak his mind to Nico? IT JUST MAKES SO MUCH SENSE!!!

Will and Nico listen to their favorite audiobooks before bed, Will carefully caressing Nico's hair while Nico stares at his handsome freckled face thinking how wonderful it is to finally allow himself to have precious little moments like that

The thing is...Nico is very complex. He's seen or as a complete softie, or as "the mean one", or as a "the shy and timid awkward one"...but he's not really one of the above.

He's not shy or timid, he's curious, open minded and a good diplomat. He is just angry and has trust issues because of the traumas.

He's not mean...he's just reserved and stoic.

He's not a total softie...he's stubborn and has literally killed people

YES!!! Honestly, I've always seen people portraying him like the "cold" and "dangerous" one, and it lowkey pisses me off. His personality is one of the most well balanced within the characters from the riordanverse, in my opinion. He knows how to use the different sides of his personality for the better. Even if it endangers him. As you said before, he's selfless and protective. When he came back from Tartarus it was so obvious how much of heroes guilt he had held. I'm genuinely happy with his character development. Just sad not everyone notices that.

I don't think people talk about this enough so here it is: Nico is such a gentle person. he's so warm hearted and genuinely kind it's actually endearing to watch. of course, Nico, as a son of Hades, is really stubborn. and he will NEVER admit how much he cares for others. but it's there, you just have to watch and see.
