“Dude where were you, it’s been like a month and nobody was giving me straight answers!” [Izzie asked.] “well I mean Peter kinda tried but like I was still freaked out-“

[izzie looked… exhausted. Like now that she was sure Barnabas was alright and safe and not disappearing again, the aftermath of that worry and panic was catching up to her.]
[she nodded, flopping down in the chair next to his bed. Heh, Deja vu again. Any minute now Elias’s gonna walk in and say some concerning shit or something, heh..]
"oh uh... it's kinda way off in the middle of the pacific ocean, i think.." [she hummed.] "i'm not really great at geography, but uh... yeah, it's a bunch of volcanic islands over there, kinda tropical, has a bunch of volcanoes because it's on a fault between two tectonic plates..."
[she knows how the volcanoes formed in hawaii but doesnt know where hawaii is?]
"those volcanoes are actually like a big part of how they survive, actually." [izzie shrugged.] "they formed those islands. and besides, the volcanoes aren't like... always spewing lava all the time. they're more active than something like St Helens was, but they're not the explosion kind of volcano as far as i know?"
"oh, hey, you ok if i pop out for a second or two?" [she asks, glancing to the still-very-broken heart monitor on the floor.] " i uh... i should probably go tell the staff about that..."
