I’ve recently had a theory, honestly based on other AUs involving "sire" and "carrier" protocols, that carrier protocols focus more on the sparkling's safety and keeping them secure, whereas sire protocols are more about being there for the carrier and providing emotional support. It made me wonder if Dee’s hesitation isn't just about being unable to get over Orion; it’s as if something feels subconsciously wrong, something he can't quite put his finger on. And I think Orion doesn't miss Dee just because he loved him, that part is clear to me, but because, instinctively, Dee is necessary for that process. I’m just waiting for the moment Dee sees Rigel; he’s a mini-copy of Orion, but with Dee's optics. I don't know how common yellow optics are, but as far as I know, there’s no one else in the mines with that color. And let’s be honest: deep down, he knows something didn't add up, that Orion had deceived him. No matter how angry he still is, deep down he knows something isn't quite right.

By the way, I seriously love your AU. It makes me suffer like you wouldn't believe, but coming up with theories about it is so entertaining 🫶✨ Sorry if this message isn't perfectly clear; English isn’t my first language so I had to translate it all just to make sure everything made sense 🥲

You're right . for the carrier process, Sire needs to be present. This situation left Orion quite vulnerable and looking for a partner to replace the one Dee left behind, and left Dee with a feeling that something isn't quite right. We may soon find out what's going through Dee's mind. ⊹ ࣪ ˖

I just wanted to say thank you for the lovely story and artwork you continuously post. It means a lot and I can tell it’s a lot of hard work 🥹🫶🩵 The story, the sparkling, the FEELS-all of it is beautiful 🤩

Has Orion not considered the possibility of Dee not believing that Rigel is his sparkling and therefore not wanting to take him in?

Cause just telling your lover that his baby is not really his and that you cheated and then after the baby is born just suddenly revealing that it was indeed his and that he should take him in is…

Reading the last comic you uploaded, I don't think D- 16 can be blamed for leaving Orion and starting a new life after learning about the alleged infidelity Orion told him about.

But, I think D-16 can be criticized for letting his anger get the better of him and not questioning (He was even able to investigate whether it was true.) Orion probably lied to him to protect him from the mines and the ostracism he faced for having a Sparkling. Because, in theory, D- 16 is the one who knows Orion best and knows what he's capable of sacrificing, and that includes himself.

There were many possibilities and probably many ways to solve the problem, but D-16 let his anger get the better of him at that moment and didn't look back; he believed Orion.

What are your favorite transformers continuities?

I think I like IDW comics way more than the series. I'm not a fan of the Bayverse. I haven't seen TF Animated yet, but I think the designs are incredible and cute (Blurr's design is just too adorable) (please bring back TF One, I've been crying about it for two years) .

Today is my birthday and I don't have any plans. I think I'll go out with some friends tonight after work. Anyway, I drew a picture to remember the day - yay!

I LOVE YOUR ART I FOUND IT ON TWITTER FIRST BEFORE KNOWING YOU HAVE A TUMBLR ACC😭😭😭 I really love the complex relationship between D and Hotrod I can see the vision of D doesn't really hate Rod but his still hurt bcs of the "betrayal" he feels. But I can also see both aren't wrong Rod probably just thinks he found a new bot to (maybe) at least start a relationship with and he seems kinda? Genuinely and still consider his feelings and all and doesn't force him doing "it".

And yeah I can clearly see in these complex relationships between all of them it's not cheating because if the relationship is already broken up and the other person Orion understands the situation but I understand his heartbreak too.

But still damn. I can't wait to see how D reaction after knowing the whole truth ✋🏻😭🤚🏻.

Rod and Dee's relationship was one of the hardest ones for me to develop, haha. I like to think that, despite all the pain Dee carries, he genuinely tries to move forward with Rod. And Rod, even when he's dying for a little affection from Dee, manages to hold himself back (even if he enjoys sitting in his lap or flirting with him a little). He really does try, so I'll give him credit for that 😭

Oh, and Dee's reaction when he finds out the truth... that's going to be painful.
