The young woman had not wasted any time. In less than three minutes she found herself in Drew’s room, lucky to have caught the elvator in just the right moment. Hurrying into the room, she went over to check on Darcy and immediatel, once she saw the distress, picked the little girl up. “Hey, little girl. How’s the princess hm? Daddy’s getting you something to make you feel better.” She smiled at the girl. If there was something that had always mattered to Tara, it was Darcy’s well being. Without even thinking about it she made her way over to the bed, sat down with Darcy in her arms and switched the tv on, searching for a channel with Darcy-worthy program. “There we go.” And by the time Drew came back, Tara had pretty much gotten settled. “That’s good. What did you get?”
Drew's eyes instantly settled on his crying child as he walked into the room, closing the door behind him. All he wanted to do was make it better, to make it go away. "I don't know. This... I just asked for something to stop her being sick and the pharmacist gave me this." He walked over and knelt down in front of the girls. "Hey.. I'm gonna' make it all go away, okay? Daddy's going to make it better, princess." He tried to soothe her, quickly opening the bottle, spilling it a little. Shit, my hands are shaking.
