Well, since the cat is out of the bag (pun fully intended), I thought it would be a good idea to make my own announcement post.
For those whom I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting just yet, my name is Frannie Fabray, and (clearly) I’m a resident here. While on Earth, I earned my Bachelor’s in Pre-Veterinary Medicine with a minor in Zoological Studies. From there, I graduated with my degree in Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University. I earned my license four months later, and began working at a small animal clinic as a General Practitioner. From there, I transitioned into emergency medicine, where I practiced for five years prior to my death.
The addition of Soul Pets to our community has been both welcome and exciting, and this is a project I’ve been thinking about and working diligently on for quite some time. Having the opportunity to operate my own clinic is truly a blessing, and I cannot thank Emma, Will, and each of my fellow community members enough for affording me this opportunity.
I will be announcing hours of operation, as well as providing more details regarding services and products offered, at tonight’s gala. At this time, I’d like to give a shout out to @janehaywardhq for being generous enough to host and organize tonight’s event, as well as to @theclaringtonhunter for all of his hard work and dedication over the past few days, in helping me get everything organized and set up for our grand opening!
I would also like to mention, at this time, that working in veterinary medicine in any capacity is not and can never be a one man (or woman) job. That being said, if anyone is interested in becoming an assistant, I’d be more than happy to provide training to anyone willing to help and learn. Qualified applicants must only possess a good work ethic, a passion for animals, and a desire to learn.
I am truly looking forward to seeing and interacting with each and every one of you tonight! Come out, enjoy the refreshments, and feel free to ask any questions you may have! Also, feel free to bring your furry, feathered, prickly, or scaly friends- I am beyond excited to meet each of them as well. <3
