It’s almost like you took the biggest goldmine and sealed it up by taking one of your least likable drivers and teams and making sure they fucked over the only Black man in the sport ever out of some of the greatest f1 history that could have happened and also the same team chucked out one of the grids most personable drivers who got a lot of fans into F1 in the first place with drive to survive.
And guess what watching drivers we like never have a shot at winning? Sucks.
Why as an American would I wake up at ass o’clock to watch a largely predetermined result?
Or pay a ton of money to go to a GP, again already knowing who the likely winner is?
Like if takes weather or a literal mechanical breakdown for the result to be interesting??
Your sport is doing it wrong.
Even when Lewis was winning it wasn’t THIS boring and he never won THIS many in a row. Oh and he LOVES racing. And is mostly a pretty decent person who doesn’t use slurs or is misogynistic, etc.
F1 and the FIA did this to themselves.
