Dear muns who play the same muse as me,
Youâre very cool (and you have good taste in muses), and if you want to, we should totally be friends. None of this silly jealousy stuff, come love me. Add me on skype, talk headcanons with me, do crack with me. Thereâs no reason not to be pals, youâre awesome.
                                  Love Always, me.
Somehow the the sad meds faces make me sadâŚ
THIS!!!!Â
THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS!!!!
Iâm printing this out for my boss and my co-workers and making them read it a thousand times every time they try to tell me that Iâm over-medicating and should consider getting off the anti-depressants!
Iâm going to staple it to their foreheads if I have to!
A New Taste â Ą multibrainkay
"I do have chocolate flavored actually." She slide the glass under the display open and picked out a chocolate one handing it over to him. "I hope you enjoy it."Â
She paused waiting for him to try it when he asked. âWhat kind of drinks? I serve coffee and tea and stuff like that. And itâs possible to make a smoothie if I have the fruit here. Do you want something like that?âÂ
He twirled the desert between his pointer finger and thumb, letting his curiosity unfold. Jinki took a bite, only left half of the sphere on the stick. A few moments later, he let out a satisfying hum. The creaminess of the chocolate was the perfect balance.
Jinki waited to finish chewing to answer the woman's question. "If you offer mochas, I would like to order one." He took the last bite of the cake pop. "These are delicious. You're very talented." Â
Lost â Ą Dr. Lee & Dr. Han
Another successful operation. Sunhwa was now on her way back from the operating room, after taking off all of the surgical scrubs. Such a relief she was feeling. There was not anything more pleasant for success in a certain operation, even when some operations did not required that much exertion and pressure.
Her schedule for the day happened to be a tough oneâ not like tomorrow or the day after that she would manage to get a proper rest at workâ but then she reminded herself that she has been utterly busy ever since she applied for the university. Not like it actually ever brought a frown upon her faceâ what seemed to bother her at times was the fact that the stress may reflect on her health- no, it would surely happen sooner or later. Thus, her loved ones tend to usually scold her for putting so much effort in her profession.
Selfless  , Sunhwa was, in each aspect. Mind occupied by a variety of thoughts. She seemed tired. Bones engulfed by exhaustion. However, the female tried to wear a smile each time she was surrounded by people. They should not be aware of her mental nor physical condition no matter what. It was only her usual self being workaholic. Soft smile illuminating light, making the lips of the others arche upwards as wellâ it made her feel proud of herself for having such an influence upon the people. A true form of happiness in which she felt glad for being the reason of someoneâs smile.
And now, she was filling up the a certain patientâs file, more like- checking it up but the pen was important to be held just in case. And she was quite concentrated on her current activity before another face, an unfamiliar one, interrupted her. Even though this was not an interruption in any way to her. A gentle smile curled upon her plump lips as she eyed the other up, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear right after. âAh, yes, sure.â She bowed her head and extended the left hand , the one she was holding the pencil with, for a handshake. ââHan Sunhwa, itâs a pleasure to meet you.â â The doctor spoke softly as she headed to the psychiatric ward with the other by her side.
Jinki sighed in relief, someone was able to help him. He wouldn't get a mouth full from his mentor from his lack of common sense for an intelligent individual. His inner child would let his mind wonder to chicken nuggets in the hospitalâs cafeteria when his mentor went on a rampage of words. Â The brunet shook her hand, noting how soft they were for a second, once before letting go. His mouth open to speak but words got caught, not expecting the woman to already in progress of showing him to his office.
He walked quickly, catching up in her steps before speaking. âLee Jinki but, itâs a pleasure to meet you too.â Jinki said in a friendly tone. Sensing the otherâs vibe of not wanting to speak, Jinki didn't take it to heart and just looked around, having his curiosity take in everything he saw but the woman beside him would be in the corner of his eye. He felt a little guilty observing her but it was a good habit for work so he wasn't going to stop anytime soon.
The woman looked beautiful to Jinki but the dark circles underneath her puffy eyelids made him wonder how long sheâs been working. Overtime in the hospital was common but usually people would joke about it, not keep silent.
A little feud in his mind about whether to speak up or not only lasted a second before he spoke. âSince thereâs a lot of âDr.Leeâs here feel free to call me just Jinki.â He said in a cheerful tone to make the atmosphere friendlier. âSoâŚhow long was your shift today if you don't mind me asking. You look a bit tired."
Haunt Me
Orri had seen the male in his library, pleasantly reading a book in the sanctuary of a chair off to its own. This was a usual occurrence in the library after all, but there was something about him that had Orri keeping his eyes on him. It wasnât long before he learned his name, smiling as he checked out a stack of books to take home and read. âEnjoy them.â Heâd said, giving him a warm smile to go off with.Â
The next time heâd seen Jinki, it had been outside the hospital as he was driving by. The doctor had been walking, or rather tripping up the steps on his way inside the hospital. Heâd probably been out to lunch and was just coming back given the time of day and Orri couldnât help but shake his head. Aker had nudged him from within, still not having Raâs touch to awaken for himself. All he could do was give the mortal vessel a feeling, the instinct to protect.Â
The third time Orri had caught a glimpse of the doctor, it had been a night out. He was entertaining a friend for dinner, and heâd seen Jinki walking down the street at night. As heâd told his friend goodbye, heâd jogged to catch up with the young man, the familiar feeling to do something spurring him towards him. âHey. Jinki, right? I remember you, from the library.â Heâd called out, though he wasnât heard. Jinki was wearing headphones, listening to a steady stream of music, or maybe client sessions in his ears. He couldnât hear Orri, but heâd caught up to him now, glancing up to see the light changing and the walk sign blinking in warning that cars might soon be coming their way.Â
Grabbing Jinkiâs arm, he tugged him away from the road, a driver ignoring the pedestrians as he sped on by. âYou should be more careful.â He warned, though he figured he still couldnât quite hear him. âDonât get too caught up in those things.â He instructed, pointing to his ears as he let the man go.
Jinki finally finished the paperwork this week but stress was added tenfold due to his mentor. It was a requirement to go over every case with a mentor when a doctor is still considered new but as he gotten more experience he was allowed more patients. More patients mean more overtime with his mentor. Itâs not that he hates the man, he was there every time he had a question, but having overtime in the police departmentâs investigations has left Jinki easily vulnerable to irritation. Jinki could almost feel his eyes sunken into the abyss of his dark circles.
As he left the building, it was already dark and the bus wasnât an option as much as he wanted it to. Waiting for the bus would have taken longer than walking so before checking his bright orange converseâs shoelaces were tied, the tread on home. The quietness was his enemy at the moment. It was perfect for people sleeping rather than walking so shoving his pockets in his jeans, he groped around for his earphones and iPhone. His mind decided the night was for classical music. The first Mozart composition he saw became the theme song to his walk. The more he listened, the more he imagined being the pianist.
Jinki remembered playing it for school, so as his fingers moved like a conductorâs baton he could only see the music score. The music measures just moved across seamlessly until a force moved him from his path. His eyes hazed for a moment for not grasping what was happening. The brunet turned to the left to see a hand gripping on his arm. His eyes trailed up to see a man moving his mouth but the violin shrills overset the manâs voice. He took out both earphones and let them hang over his neck when the man let go.
âI-Iâm sorry,â He stammered on his words, not expecting to be stopped. âI didnât catch any of thatâŚâHis voice trailed off but his eyes focused more the manâs facial features. He narrowed his eyes as he thought back until, âAh, youâre the librarian from the library.  Orri, right?â He spoke with little uncertainly.  Â
Rainfall â Ą eunjistar
Eunji had debated whether to take an umbrella to work that morning, had gone back and forth between taking one and not taking one for longer than really necessary. She had thought that if she took one, she would end up not needing it and if she didnât take one, it would end up rainingâŚand hard, knowing her luck. She had decided to take one with her, just in case but she had put it into the umbrella stand at the front of the cafe and when she was done with work, it was gone. She assumed someone really needed an umbrella and just thought no one would miss it, and she didnât really mind because she could buy another one at a later date. But it was raining and she really wanted to get home and sit down with a good book instead of trudging through the rain.
After trying to wait out the rain for a bit inside the cafe, Eunji noticed it didnât seem to be letting up so she thought sheâd make a run for it. Her apartment wasnât very far from her work, so she didnât think it would be too bad. And it wasnâtâŚuntil the rain got worse and she had to take refuge under an awning for a music shop.
Shivering, Eunji watched the people passing by, wishing sheâd worn thicker clothing or that she was in her apartment with a pair of thick socks on her feet and a cup of hot tea in her hands. She sighed, rubbing her arms, the cold of her soaked clothing cut her to the bone and she felt like she might never be warm again. Maybe sheâd take a hot shower when she got home, she was thinking just as another person stepped under the awning.
A smile rose to her lips as the man offered her his umbrella, but she shook her head. âI couldnât take your umbrella, what would you use when you need to leave?â She wrapped her arms around herself and said, âIâm just waiting for the rain to stop, I donât live too far from here, if it just lets up a little then I think I can get home without getting soaked further.â She wasnât sure why she was telling him so much, but there was definitely a calming air about him and his voice was soft and made her feel safe somehow.Â
The kind girlâs words didnât ease on Jinkiâs offer. The habit of observing peopleâs actions couldnât be turn off when he wasnât working as much as he wanted to. Her words didnât match her actions to him. She seemed assertive to wait out the rain but when she wrapped her arms around herself, a sign that she was cold. It was a poor attempt to keep herself warm in the storm but he didnât want to seem rude.
She seem to be the type to stick by her words so he couldnât force her to take the umbrella without some wavering words.
âIt wouldnât be fair if I just left you out here without knowing when the storm is going to pass.â Jinki pondered out loud as he sat beside the girl. His eyes faced forward to watch the young couple walking pass them in a rush. Jinki licked his lips once before continuing.
âThis might seem strange since you donât know me but I wouldnât mind walking you to your home. It wouldnât be any trouble, Iâve been meaning to explore the neighborhood more so you would be doing me a favor.â He said with a smile forming on his lips. Deep down, he knew he shouldnât be lying to someone he just met but he couldnât just leave her alone, just wouldnât be right. Jinki decided the ends justify the means in this situation.
The brunet let the umbrella tip hit against the asphalt ground in a beat as he waited for her answer.Â
First Session â Ą Txemin
Taemin took a deep breath as he listened to the Dr. as he spoke. He knew an important part of getting help was not only talking about his problems, but also listening to what the Dr. said. He nodded some, reaching up to carefully pull his glasses off and set them on top of his beanie. He looked down quickly, afraid to completely show his face.
âIt⌠all happened a year agoâŚâ he kept his gaze focused on the floor as he picked at his fingers, it was obvious that bringing up the subject made him uncomfortable, but he knew he had to. It was the only way to get better, or at least start on a path to getting better. âThis⌠sasaeng fan⌠she followed me around for a while. At first I didnât think much of it⌠but then she started to appear in places that only the hyungs or my manager knew about⌠and she said she had permission.. but I knew she was lying⌠she had to be. That happened a few times⌠and then one night, I was at a party with my hyungs⌠at my own house. I had a few drinks too many I suppose and I went outside to get some air and wait for my noona, whom was in the restroom at the timeâŚ.â He sniffles a bit, shifting around some before he clears his throat.
âSheâŚ. Showed up there too. She.. she⌠she used chloroform to knock me out⌠and then she took me⌠she took me away from the hyungs. Far away⌠and she kept me there⌠in her house⌠for about a month, maybe two⌠she.. abused me physically⌠mentallyâŚ. sexually⌠she hardly fed meâŚâ At this point tears are rolling down his cheeks â he wanted to forget these things, the last thing he wanted to do was talk about them. The pain he felt while talking about them was almost as bad as the pain he felt when he was trapped in her home.  âShe went out one day⌠and I was able to free myself from the chains she had me tied to the bed with⌠and I contacted by noona⌠she was able to save me but⌠she got away⌠the sasaeng got awayâŚâ And then heâs breaking down, resting his head in his hands as he sobs.
While Ace spoke, Jinki took his clipboard and scribbled down notes as he tried to not accidently interrupt his patientâs train of thought. Some patients felt more uncomfortable when he writes down notes but it was something that he needed to look over in other sessions. His mentor wouldnât trust his choice of treatment if there wasn't any proof . At times when Jinki wasn't writing down any notes, he would analyze his patientâs actions as a forced habit. Jinki didn't want to be swayed from people that were just looking for drugs and think the easiest way was through the psychiatrist ward.
His doubt was quickly dismissed though. Aceâs eyes to the floor meant the words he is speaking is close to him while his finger picking shown his anxious side. Â Usually liars would make a beat to their practice speech but with Aceâs pauses, they didnât follow a pattern. Â His patientâs words seemed so honest. Jinki almost broke some of his rules by telling the patient to stop, terrified to make Ace break down crying but he held his tongue. It would be unfair to Ace that finally let his story be heard to be stopped abruptly.
Instead, Jinki buried the feeling into writing the details Ace would speak of. Once he heard about the saseangâs escape, he could hear the poor boyâs cries becoming louder. Jinki capped his pen and turned around to grab the tissue box. After quickly taking out a few pieces of tissue, he patted the boyâs shoulder once and held out the tissues to him.
âItâs okay to cry. It let us realize that something really hurt us. Itâs us acknowledging it. Our tears can be like the rain, then when the tears stop it can be like the rainbow. Itâs a breather afterward, a way to let you express your emotions. A lot of people think itâs better to bury it but itâs not. You canât pretend it didn't happen but you can grow stronger from it if you let me help you. So, feel free to cry anytime here Ace because the rainbow will come afterward. I will help you get through this.â Jinki said, softly smiling at the younger.Â

He arrives at Jinkiâs apartment building about 15 minutes laterâ and the first thing he notices as he parks his bike and approaches the door, is that.. Well. The door is wide open. Feeling uneasy, the redheaded boy creeps forward, hands occupied by bags as he cranes his head around the doorway to peer inside, and then a gasp catches in his throat when he sees the older male on the floorâ all but dropping the bags to the ground and rushing forward, collapsing on his knees to turn the other other onto their back. âDr. Lee!â He calls nervously, worry laden on his features. âAre you hurt? Yahâ Yah, wake up!â
[aim/inbox tonight, maybe dashboard activity in a few hours but don't count on it.]Â
"You look like you could use a hand."
Jinki hummed in a questioning tone as he looked up to see a blonde, almost white, Â haired man politely waiting for a reply. The Doctor wished he looked half as presentable as the stranger in front of him. His hair was matted on his head due to the unexpected rain. His clothes resembled a naked mole ratâs wrinkles and his face flushed red due to the frustration of his new umbrella. The neon green attracted him into buying it but if he knew it was going to be as hard opening it like it was quantum physics then he would have never gave it a second look.Â
He let out a frustrated sigh after one last futile attempt. âI would feel grateful if you could open it.â Jinki felt guilty for asking rather than just turning the man away but he was craving the coffee back home and the rain wasnât going to light up anytime soon.   Â
"You look like you could use a hand."
Jinki looked up to see what seemed to be someoneâs shadow over towering him. The stranger might not be that much taller than him but from his blurry vision, the shadow could resemble a mountain for all he knows.Â
Jinki blinked once harshly before his eyes could distinguish the manâs facial features then Jinki could see the worry in the strangerâs eyes.Â
He let out an embarrassed chuckle. Â âYes, I would appreciate it. Thank you.â Jinki was about to sit himself up from the floor but something dripped to his lips. Curiosity was his first priority as he licked his lips.
âIronâHe thought, as his fingers touched his nose. The source was blood dripping down. Jinki knew it wasnât a big deal since facial wounds were typically bloodier than any place other than the face but also messier.Â
"Ah, donât worry I can get up." He said, not wanting to touch the otherâs hand with his bloody ones. Jinki can never tell between people who are squeamish of blood or not. Â "That's what happens when you don't learn to not run into walls..."
"Dr. Lee, was it? It's quite nice to meet you," he smiled widely, adding a polite bow for good measure. "I'm Hwang HyunWoo."
Jinki put on an automatic polite smile as a habit he acquired from work while he bowed in respect. "Hello Hyunwoo, nice to meet you too. To what do I owe the pleasure?"Â
salierisol replied to your post:"Why is family so important to you?"

"Why is family so important to you?"
He hums in thought as he pondered the thought a bit. Jinki wasnât offended by this question. It intrigue him actually. These questions were often left to the imagination so the boy just seemed much more interesting. Also having spent 200,000 won on gifts would create some curiosity for the reason why.
"Itâs not really family that is important...itâs more of the relationships that I treasure. Society makes you feel like you owe something to your family even if they did treat you badly. If you believe that your family were horrible then don't feel obligated to help them if they ask. Saying no is your choice and no one should judge that, not even me." He spoke thinking back to his patients before continuing.
"The relationships that I treasure is my family. There is no obligation for them to give me love and trust. My parents could have been horrible to me if they wanted to but they really looked after me. My first friend helped me even though I was exiled in school with no personal goal in mind. I just treasure them so much because the older you get, the more society wants to tell you about how cruel people are or how you can get easily murdered. They gives me hope that everything will get better or with their help maybe I can make this world a better place. Theyâre the reason why I still see the good in people." Jinki didnât realize he went on a rant until he ended it and was met with quietness. He felt his cheeks warm up.
"So thatâs why Iâm buying all these souvenirs and also an unexpected present does make people days don't you think? I like making people smile so I guess itâs for me too." Jinki laughed at his words. Â Â Â Â Â
