Thank you for existing and changing my life for the better. Without you, I wouldn’t be the person I am today and probably wouldn’t even be alive. You gave me the courage to speak up about my mental health issues and seek the help I deserved. As a fellow person of color, I know how hard it is to be treated seriously when it comes to mental health. Thank you for breaking that stigma and giving us fellow people of color courage to speak up about our own issues with depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. Thanks to you and your words, I’m able to wake up and get out of bed every day and live life like I’m supposed to. You saved me, Scott, and I’m forever grateful for you.
