When I joined the company, it was relatively a medium leveled organization with around 100 employees. But one thing that, specifically my department – operations, lacked was unity! How interactive drumming helped us go strength to strength!
Team work is essential in every single field. But when it comes to corporate culture it plays an even more significant role. Imagine a daunting client comes up with a big project that needs very prompt delivery. As a team leader, you have the confidence to pull this off but you are unsure of the bonding among teammates. In this case, teambuilding activities can be of immense help. Music has always been helpful in rejuvenating souls. So why not use it here also? That’s where interactive drumming will come to your aid. At first I was also shocked when my team leader broke the plan to us. But after experiencing the session myself, I am compelled to write this post to let others know about the plethora of fun-filling and exciting activities that Drums and Rhythm is offering.
So, here in this post I will be listing the details of the full activity that helped us get back on course with our project and strengthened our team bonding for our future endeavors. If you’re also thinking about new ideas for a teambuilding engagement then snug up and read on.
How interactive drumming helped us go strength to strength:
When you are in a team, you have to set aside your personal vested interests and work together for the objective of the whole team. But if one single employee in not in sync with this ideology, then slowly the whole bonding crumbles and things fall apart. So, the main reason behind this activity was to engage everyone in one single interactive session where everyone would work as partners and not as mere colleagues. They have to get over hindrances and barriers like hierarchy, age, gender and race. Only then every single employee will be motivated to bring forth the best they have to offer. These sessions will target the complications you may have inside your heart and mind. Thus nothing else is better than music which can leave a profound effect on both your physical and mental health. And when teamed up with dancing, it just precipitated the effect. Below I am listing all the features that you’ll be entitled with the drumming session.
How does the session work?
The whole session is so cleverly and creatively directed that every single one of us got the chance to express ourselves through fire dancing along with drum sets. Here’s how it all got carried out.
At first, each delegate will be given a fire staff and a drum.
Next, the whole team will do 45-minutes of Interactive Drumming and then other 45-minutes of Interactive Fire Dancing. In this case, it’s advisable to tie on the loose hair for safety measures.
During the drumming session the instructors taught us two basic rhythms, a break and a beautiful traditional song. Then when the dance session commenced, every single participant will be taught a choreographed fire dance which really amazed every one.
The end will happen on a high note with the company performing as a team. The enthusiasm and synergy, culminating into an event of drums and dance will be an experience that can never be forgotten.

I am feeling very delighted to say that the interactive drum session really helped our team come back on track and we delivered the big project successfully within the stipulated time. The client was happy and so were we. It’s the joy of working together that went missing before but was restored with the interactive session.
