I was planning to only draw kinger (my middle aged babygirl) but then my friend (Ori) said they’d be drawing Caine so I drew him too. And then Ragatha because it’s another friend’s yume

Redrew the series poster and I feel like you can tell when I stopped trying to copy the OG designs and went with my own style

The two adult characters are (in order) Ezekiel (he/him) and Evelyn (she/her) they’re siblings, Evelyn being the youngest.

The kid is Amy (she/her), Evelyn’s daughter and Ezekiel’s nephew

The plot of their story is that, after Ezekiel’s apparent death, Evelyn took over his house, jumping at the opportunity to move away from the city and her ex, hoping to get a fresh start for her and Amy. Turns out Ezekiel wasn’t all the way dead after all: he’s a ghost, trapped in a house that seems to have more mysteries than cobwebs on the ceiling.

The story deals with heavy topics such as parental neglect, grief and suicide, as well as more heartwarming things: love, family, acceptance. It’s not a tragedy, pain is not an accessory but a part of life that the characters live through and overcome.

I have half a mind to turn the story into an episodic series: about 8 “episodes” each one with around 10k words and at least one illustration, I would like to post on Wattpad (or on other pltforms with less ads), I already planned “season 1” and started writing the prologue to the first “episode” but I want to have at least two full episodes written down before I start posting
