This Is A Smear Campaign: Open Your Eyes
Many of you have most likely seen this post (x) detailing how to spot a smear campaign. But, recognizing the signs is difficult for many who are already entrenched. With OP’s permission (x), we’ve gone through the 7 major steps of a smear campaign and documented how this situation is a smear campaign designed to unjustly hurt a victim.
How to spot a smear campaign
Victim’s “crimes” (x)(x) are enlarged: even small missteps are treated as if only the worst person on the planet would do such a thing
Accusations against the victim are a reach, aka, victim did ‘this little thing’ but it actually means they’re a misogynist/pedophile/Tr*mp supporter/homophobe (x), even when the victim’s actions never conformed to those crimes (x)(x)
Victim’s actions are misinterpreted (x) in the worst possible way: anything the victim has done was taken as an offense and intentions are read as hostile and manipulative, regardless of how clear they are (x)
Victim’s actions have been taken out of context (x); ie, victim said something cruel to someone (x), but they take out the context of the victim being abused, threatened, forced into defense mode (x) and finally attacking out of desperation (x) to defend themselves (x) and get free
Victim commonly gets provoked into giving a bad reaction (x), (anyone gets defensive if they’re accused of the crimes (x)(x) they never did, or simply triggering insults until they snap), and the reaction has always been the new ‘proof’ that the victim is in fact, evil and guilty
A lot of pressure has been put on fans to react ‘correctly’ to the smear campaign; if fans don’t accept to demonize the victim at once, fans get scrutinized, shamed for their lack of morality, told that they support all these horrid things and that they are just as despicable (x)(x)
Trends of people have banded together based on their demonization (x)(x)(x) of the victim; they’ve set a standard where you’re accepted and welcome if only you also will demonize and hate the victim, and if you don’t, you’re blocked, cast out, and accused of causing harm
Over 20 sources from this week alone depict how Tommy and Tubbo are heading a smear campaign against Dream.
This is most likely not intentional. The initial smear campaign is suspected to have started in 2021 by an alt-right chat room (x). But, their actions are negligent and hurtful to an undeserving person. Their disregard for the consequences of their actions have led to threats against Dream and Dream fans and family.
This is not okay.
So, how do you prevent it from happening again?
Do not fall for smear campaigns.
If a large number of people agree that a person is the worst, but their story is exaggerated, out of context, sounds fictional, and doesn’t show any proof, and the people switch from being enraged to eager, doubt it. Participating in a smear campaign will help the abusers isolate and abuse someone, and you do not want to be a part of it. They will also smear anyone who stands up to their abuse, so you’re helping the abusers to create a place where pointing out abuse gets you cast out of the community
In the case of Dream, refrain from making false posts about Dream. Even jokes, like those made by Harry, Ainsey, and Tommy, have led to child endangerment. Call out creators for their misbehavior: educate them on why a joke is in ill-tase. And, if they don’t respond, boycott their content. There are lovely creators who are making great series you can watch right now (like Hermitcraft, Empires SMP, etc). Make your voice heard by taking away their voice.
In Tommy’s video, he said he can admit when he “[fucks] up.” If that is true, he should apologize for, whether intentionally or unintentionally, engaging in a tactical scheme to hurt a person. The same goes for Tubbo and his fans. Recognize the actions you’ve caused. Realize what your words do. Apologize, and move on.

Propaganda : its so big. Its so so big. Look at a map of the dsmp. Its just a black void bigger than l'manburg was. You look at it and you just know it's something terrible. the obsidian walls, lava, the iron. It's just there. In the middle of the ocean. It does not fit in and its scary. the AMOUNT of redstone and functions it go is AMAZING. the only way to enter is through a portal that then leads u to the nether and has to be manually activated again by the warden. So to enter you literally NEED the wardens permission. All the bridges and all the door. It's so fucking cool man what can I say. The amount of security. the lore that happened inside pandora as well. Pandoras arc was the best arc of the whole of dream smp and I stand by that. There is so so much to unpack. Sam and Dream could have just built some shitty obsidian box and called it a prison, but no they made PANDORAS VAULT

Further Propaganda: Pandora's Vault is almost two maps long and just a bit slimmer than a map wide.
It was also built to be inescapable due to its observers that the builder rigged to send him a message on his Phone, as well as the phones of his two appointed guards (Of which one is Badboyhalo), as well as the handful of elder guardians that Sam moved from an ocean monument that was thousands if not tens of thousands of blocks away. By Minecart. And Not underwater. Those Elder Guardians would then go around on rails, circling the underside of the prison, and would give you mining fatigue every ever seconds, thus making is Impossible to break the Obsidian walls, so unless you have someone who manually mathed out any potential spots that have more than a few seconds worth of no elder guardians, And brought tnt Into the prison to blast open spots that were decorated with blackstone due to the Warden's hubris, and then used fire res pots to swim through the lava that the innermost cell was surrounded by, you're not gonna be able to get out.
Hell, even the bed Sam used to keep his one and only inhabitant in there was in a hole Above the cell with you spawning in in the only viable spot, which is a dropshoot that drops you into a 1-deep puddle of water, thus making escape by offing yourself not a viable strategy.
Not to mention the fact that before someone broke a hole into the bottom of the prison for easier entry after the prison's main function was used up, as noted by the op concerning the cool portal stuff: you couldn't enter the prison without literally ringing a doorbell that was connected to an enderpearl stasis chamber that would have the Warden get stasis chambered into the prison lobby, from where he would have to manually light and turn off the portals so you could even get a chance at entering.
And from there, there's like, 2-3 spots where you get searched and killed so you can't smuggle stuff in. So you really Had to do the difficult way if you Insisted upon bringing Anything into the prison. Aka mining in via a spot so far under the prison that the elder guardians wouldn't affect you until you get within range. From what point you can use tnt to open a spot that's closest to the prison, and then chug milk as you pray that you'll be able to break the obi you need to break to even try to get in.
Oh also the outer walls are, I think, somewhere between 6 and 12 blocks of a grid of blackstone and obi thick, and was peppered with the aforementioned observers that were rigged to send that warning message, or, if worse comes to worst, literally start off a Very annoying alarm, which is note blocks getting hit at the fastest possible speed as a note that is Very headache inducing.
tl;dr: Baller structure that's not just resistant to rp-"inescapable" shenanigans, but was Genuinely inescapable. They did Not have to go so hard.

ok so as someone who still doesn't have their own distinct style at the age of 23 im hopping on the train of old vs new dteam-related art
the first image is from june of 2020. i was just starting to get into dteam content and wanted to make something based on george's minecraft but i have to carry my friend video. next to it is a redraw made more than 2 years later in august 2022.
ive drawn like. a lot of just dream but most of it has been pre-fr. pic one is a recreation of how dream looked in a dream I had in nov 2020, and pic 2 was like the one post fr drawing of cc!dream id made ~june or julyish bc it was missing dream hours
I'll show more general art progress below the cut (edit: having a read more fucks the post up for some reason so :/) but all of this to say that art is a process that takes lots of practice! there will be hiccups! you might go through stages where it seems like it looks worse, but it's always darkest before dawn, yknow? just keep drawing and doing what you love
this is one of my oc couples, matthias and tristan. I have been drawing them since i was 14. I go through stages of using different materials and redesigning them but it always comes back to them as a marker of how much and where i have/haven't improved
digitally too we have a lot of improvement (2020 vs 2023). I made these both on my phone with my fingers btw so don't let a lack of tools dissuade you from creating things

As I am incredibly one track minded, I have made more art for @chrisrin‘s Gemcyt AU. I thought I was going to do a fusion of all 3 G’s, but I had an idea for someone else who I myself haven’t seen anything of.
I feel like spinel is a really good fit for Scar so here he is with a bonus “heartbroken spinel” form inspired by how much he changes when on red life.
