Something that makes this even MORE astonishing is that this is NOT just a protest. It's a GENERAL STRIKE, and a successful one! This hasn't been pulled off in over 80 years, and my lovely home state, home city, managed to do it! I couldn't be more proud to be a born-and-raised Minnesotan, and I'm with them in spirit all the way 💜

i think conformitygate has really shown just who understands fandom and who doesnt. im not talking about people who just dont believe itll happen, im talking about the people getting genuinely angry that people are theorizing and having fun. yes there is a good chance its all fake and weve been lead on, but why are you upset about people connecting dots. as i said in my last post, this is what fandom is about. people having fun, playing with the media they like, shipping characters, making theories, fanfiction, headcanons, ect. this is what fandom has been about since the beginning. ive seen people comparing these fans to "toddlers throwing a tantrum because they cant accept their show is over", and even saw a guy show genuine concern that fans sound "mentally ill" ?? ive even seen these opinions on here, literally THE fandom site.

i dont want this to sound gatekeepy, but if you act like this is all genuinely insane and delusional to the point of insulting believers (i would like to remind you the writers TOLD us to analyse details), you arent the type of person that fandom was made for. let people have fun
