Nothing Stronger
chapter 9
Trigger warning for mentions of rape and abuse for this chapter.
Far too young, Kakashi sought comfort in the arms of a civilian girl that smelled nice and just made it easier to breathe. When the consequences get real, he swears to do his best, but with everyone and everything against them, it fall apart. Separation is painful for everyone involved, until his little girl learns the truth. Her pink hair isn't natural and the man she's been calling 'Daddy' is an imposter.
watching twilight and I keep making myself laugh imagining if it was just alucard or any other vampire instead of Edward. POV nausferatu goes to ur school
Oh my gosh yes
Hi Koko!!! I was wondering if the Minato week idea was still up!! I hope it is, Im ready to start writing!!! ✍️🔥🔥🔥
It is!!
I've been thinking about it, about whether I should make a proper sideblog for it or just host it on my blog. In the end I decided to host it on my own blog: it is a Minato blog at this point anyways 😂, so the works reblogged will have more reach.
I'll post all prompts and details this Sunday (June 21st) for those interested in joining me 💕 (I was thinking on posting them on June 1st, but I thought it would be nice to do so on Father's Day)
"Stop saying 15 year olds with weird interests are cringe, they're 15" this is true however you should also stop saying adults with weird interests are cringe because who gives a shit
To wit:
I want to share some wisdom from my high school art teacher.
In my AP Art class, there was a girl who was just starting to experiment with mixed media. At this point she was still playing around, trying to decide what direction she wanted to go with her portfolio. So one critique day, she brought in an abstract canvas with some rhinestone highlights and painted and real peacock feathers. She loved sparkles and peacock feathers so she thought she’d try introducing them a *little*. And after everyone had given some input, the teacher gave her his advice, VERY roughly paraphrased here:
“So here’s the thing… I do not like this style. These are just elements that do not speak to me personally, but I see that you like them, and you’re doing interesting things with them.
“My biggest critique is, I only merely *dislike* this piece. I want you to make me HATE it. Go crazy with the things that you like. Don’t hold back trying to make it palatable to people like me. Because I am NEVER going to like it. And if the audience does not like it, it should drive them crazy seeing how much YOU love it.”
Her portfolio was chock full of neon colors and glitter and rhinestones and splashes of peacock feathers and it was a delight. Our teacher despised every piece lol, but she got great marks and I think even won some awards. And more importantly, she was happy and proud of the results. Because she didn’t limit herself by trying to appeal to people who were never going to enjoy what she enjoyed.
Takeaway here: be as cringe as you want. Don’t limit yourself based on other ppl’s tastes. They’re not you, and you are incredible 💕
This is the most inspirational thing I've read all week. Possibly all year
Was driving with my grandmother and in broken English she says “no eyes… no nose… no face. Don’t trust.” To which I looked around wildly in search of this omen of ill portend.
Cybertruck. It was a cybertruck.

An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
One moment Sakura is dying bitter and alone, the next she is waking up in a room that she's never seen before. She quickly puts together that she somehow managed to dimension hop. Just as swiftly, Sakura realizes that saving the world was clearly a job meant for other people like Sasuke and Naruto. New life, new attitude.
One moment Kakashi is happy with his father, the next he is dead. He can't sleep. Kakashi trains himself into the ground. He still can’t sleep. He wants to be better than his father. He still cannot sleep. The village hates him because of what his father had done. Sleep eludes him. Things change when he runs into a house.
One moment Minato is trying to figure out his student while trying to balance his duties, and then next Kakashi flipped his entire demeaner. He is still a sarcastic little menace, but he’s far more open to Minato’s teachings. He knew he made mistakes with his student, but this change in life happened while he was away.
As in: Sakura decided to become the problem, Kakashi is the problem and the solution, and Minato is the solution.
Minato vs Tobirama 2.0: the Uchiha version (it deserved its own post, so here it is. Someone pls take my laptop away from me 🤣🤣)
some gouache practice with kakashi!! yes, i actually touched an actual brush and pen after quite some time.
digital art has truly spoiled me, but it's good to know my traditional art skills didn't die in a ditch somewhere ( ^~^')

Hello!
First of all, big big fan of your art and your Minato interpretation, glad it's catching on >:).
Sort of related to the ask you answered about your interpretation of Minato - what's your interpretation of Naruto as a character and where the falls on the crazy scale, if at all?
(I think he takes after Minato "least traumatized man on the continent" a bit more than folks give him credit for - he did live in basically child neglect for an unspecified portion of his critical development years and somehow emerged mostly well socialized??)
And, do you think his personality would've been different had one/both parents lived? What would the biggest differences be?
Very curious about your take!
Hahah, thank you!! <333 I'm also glad people are enjoying my portrayal of Minato!
About Naruto... sorry anon, I'm not obsessed enough with him to think too deeply about his character, but I'll do my best 😂. A few things that come to mind about him:
Canon!Naruto is a very obsessive person, we see it multiple times during the manga. Whether that characteristic would remain with his parents alive is difficult to say, but if we consider that fixation with his bonds as a result of his lonely childhood, then yes, it would change with his parents around (you could argue that wouldn't change too much no matter his live conditions since his parents are pretty obsessive themselves)
He's also far less empathic than the fandom gives him credit for. He's praised for understanding others, but he doesn't: he's incapable of putting himself in the shoes of people who haven't been through a similar situation to his (it's one of the few things Boruto has done well. This thing is very obvious in the original manga, so I'm glad it was picked up in the sequel)
I'm also not a fan of his "I'm just like you" mentality. No, you aren't; most of the villains in the series have had it much worse than you, keep quiet lol
Whether all of this would chage with a family around I guess it's up to every person's headcanon. I personally think he would change for the better, be more mindful of his words and actions.
Going back to the "empathtetic thing", I don't know about you guys but I'm not a fan of the way Naruto forces his view of the world, of Konoha, onto Sasuke. Nah, pal, Sasuke might be wrong about his methods (arguably. He only fully went against Konoha once he learnt what they had done to his clan. He was pretty chill before that), but he's not wrong. Trying to change his mind and bring him back to Konoha by force? That's not it, and I don't appreciate the story trying to tell me it's a good thing; it's actually a very selfish thing.
The same thing can be said about many of the villains resolutions (just to be clear, I don't consider Sasuke to be one)
I do think this would change with his parents alive.
