Throwback to last Friday when grill masters Harry Stanwyck '17 and Craig Heinly, husband of Stella Boswell, assistant dean of Public Interest and Pro Bono and Career Development, prepared 1,100 pounds of chicken for the Bull City Stand Down. The event helps veterans and other under-served Triangle residents with tax and benefits matters, update, receive, or correct their military records. More than 320 veterans — many of them homeless or financially struggling — attended the annual event at #Durham’s National Guard Armory to access numerous services such as eye examinations, vaccines, and haircuts, as well as legal help. #DukeLawLife (at Durham, North Carolina)

Rym Khadhraoui LLM '17 was born in Tunisia and grew up in France, where she focused her legal studies on public international law and human rights. After receiving her degree, she moved to Beirut to study public policy and international cooperation in the Arab world. As she was completing her studies in Lebanon, the Arab Spring was sparking massive changes in Tunisia, moving her to take a job with @oxfaminternational in Tunis.
