Trevon Duval announced his long awaited decision today to attend Duke this fall. Duval, the #5 player and #1 point guard in his class, brings his skill to Duke at a time when it is very needed, as Duke had been thin at guard since Frank Jackson announced he would not return.
Duke lands Jordan Tucker
Jordan Tucker, a 6'7 Small Forward from White Plains, NY, has announced his commitment to Duke. The 4-star recruit, a top 100 player in his high school class, joins Wendell Carter, Gary Trent, and Jordan Goldwire in Duke's 2017 class.
Frank Jackson declares for the draft
Freshman guard Frank Jackson has declared for the NBA draft, but has not hired an agent, and will retain college eligibility if he revokes his declaration by May 24. Jackson was the #10 recruit in the country this past year, and the guard played in 36 games for Duke, averaging 10.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists.
Jackson will stay in the draft and sign with an agent, he announced today. He joins Harry Giles, Luke Kennard, and Jayson Tatum as Duke's early entry draft prospects.

3-Star prospect Jordan Goldwire has committed to Duke, he has announced. The 6'2, 170 pound guard had 5 offers, and choose Duke today while on a visit there.
Sean Obi to transfer
Duke forward/center Sean Obi has announced his intent to transfer after graduating this spring. He will be eligible to play immediately. Obi transferred to Duke from Rice in 2014 and won a championship with the team in 2015. He did not play this season, but played 10 games last year for Duke, averaging 0.5 points and 1.0 rebounds in 27 total minutes for the Devils.
Obi has announced that he will play his final season at Maryland, becoming the second Duke transfer to go there in 3 seasons after Rasheed Sulaimon.

Harry Giles to declare for the draft
Harry Giles, the top overall player in the high school class of 2016, has declared for the NBA Draft, and will sign with an agent. Giles had a disappointing season with Duke, but is still a projected first round pick. He averaged 3.9 points and 3.8 rebounds in 11.5 minutes per game in his lone season at Duke.

Chase Jeter, former high school standout, has announced his intention to transfer from Duke this spring. Jeter says he wishes to be closer to home, and is the second Blue Devil from the 2015 recruiting class to transfer after Derryck Thornton did last year. Jeter, a former 5 star recruit, has not played since January 14 @ Louisville. He averaged 2.1 points and 2.2 rebounds in 48 games over 2 seasons at Duke.
Jayson Tatum declares for NBA draft
Duke forward Jayson Tatum has declared his intent to enter this year's NBA Draft, Duke announced. He will sign with an agent and forfeit his three remaining years of eligibility in college. Tatum averaged 16.8 points and 7.3 rebounds at Duke in one season.
South Carolina 88, Duke 81
Duke fell to South Carolina today by the score of 88-81. Grayson Allen scored 20 in what could be his last game as a Blue Devil. Matt Jones scored 6 and fouled out in his last appearance for Duke, and Jayson Tatum fouled out too. Amile Jefferson had 14 points, 15 rebounds, and 5 blocks in his last game as a Devil. In possibly his final appearence for Duke, Jayson Tatum scored 15. Luke Kennard scored 11 on 1-of-6 shooting from the field. Duke finishes 28-9 on the season and as ACC champs. The Devils will next play at Countdown to Craziness this October.
