"Curiosity killed the cat" type-ARG

Sudden idea came to my head after seeing couple videos of ARGs in my homepage, the idea was an ARG, that answers the lore early, but still goes on until something much darker happens could be like... any type of early answer, the truth? a false truth? a lie or warning to deter from even continuing to solve the entire ARG? could be what ever and the real end could be either the cold truth, and or a sort of "experience what's happening / what happened in real time" ending with the person solving it or a character to represent them or was helping them along to solve said ARG watching the character descend as their life go to ruin for learning too much about it (... I hope to god I haven't described any existing ARGs or my 2 second brain explosion will go to waste)

mod of readmyplay speaking.

this 4 months on tumblr, speaking with you all, roleplaying as a (formerly) joke king in yellow blog just because of a video i loved so so so much has been some of the best months of my life

i thank you all for the wonderful opportunity, moments, and everything we did together

i cannot express in mere words, nor can i ever find the words, to say how happy, grateful, and proud i am to be speaking with you all, interacting with you all

but, all good things come to an end. we are all aware of that.

in face of mounting homework ive been procrastinating on, my fixation on sfawtde and the king in yellow slowly coming to a halt, and things going on in my personal life, i have chosen to archive and shut down the blog entirely, rather than keep on going and potentially slip up in the future. better stop now than keep on going and not put any effort into it

unlike my previous rmp hiatus, this is a total and final end to readmyplay. even if i wished to, i cannot, and will not continue this blog any time in the future

is this me quitting tumblr for good? HELL NO! i'll still be around, but no longer on the readmyplay account (although i will post a few more times for the 6 month and 1 year anniversary if i even live until then). but i MAY start some new blogs, so stick around 4 that....

but readmyplay's story has finished. it is time he rests. he has atoned for his crimes, and may he be happy wherever he is.

@dumb-tl, @femboysaremydreams, @nooblets-blog, and all the other folks in SC nest this is the server ive been frequenting the most as of 2026 i want to thank you all for all the silly n fun shi we did together
